Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Part of Edie was devastated by the very idea that she might go to the doctor without Kato. They had both been so excited to arrive in Sacrosanct and attend a doctor together. Edie had been well assured that the metropolis would have at least one doctor specializing in Were pregnancies. She'd never done any research on it herself, though she knew it was possible to have crossbreeds. But she had no idea what the risks were, or if there were any special precautions to take in her pregnancy. She wasn't even entirely sure what she should be eating or how she should be taking care of herself. She was entirely unprepared to have this child, and yet she found herself here with their child inside of her. Edie had firmly told Nadya that she wanted to see the doctor, and had merely stared straight ahead as she explained that they had both been excited to see their child. Together. Now she would be doing it alone.

The mention of Frost was enough to make the shellshocked woman nearly burst into tears. She'd been through so much in the past twenty-four hours, it was enough to make her entirely emotional. She hated it. She hated showing emotion, especially emotions like these. She felt vulnerable and exposed. "I think he'll forgive me. I don't... I don't expect my previous... position. I don't think I could handle it anyway. I was never a good Beta to him." The self loathing was ever present in her voice as she spoke. She could have been better to Frost. She could have done more for Kato. She could have... She could have done so much.

"I don't want to eat," Edie insisted as the other woman stood, though she rose to her feet and followed her into the kitchen, sinking into one of the bar stools. She knew that Nadya was right, after all. She had to eat and take care of herself. Even if she didn't want to take care of herself, she had to take care of the baby. She could almost hear Kato's grumbling in her ear about it. God, Kato. She sniffled, pushing her hair back as she watched Nadya go through the fridge and cabinets. Her eyes fell upon the hard boiled egg, banana, and berries and her nose crinkled in disgust. "You know I'm a carnivore, right? Don't you have any meat?"

Still, Edie picked up the egg, thinking of how she had survived in Africa on many of the same types of foods. And how much she'd been hungry. "Foxes are carnivores," She mumbled to herself, biting into the egg. She reached out, grabbing the salt shaker and liberally putting salt on the egg in a desperate attempt to make it taste... somewhat better. "I don't like berries." She looked up at Nadya once she'd finished her egg and picked at a few bites of the banana. The food in her stomach made her immediately nauseous. How long had it been since she had ate? "Okay." She said finally. "I ate. Can we go?" She stood up then, pushing the berries back towards Nadya. She pushed her hair behind her ear, looking up at Nadya with expectant eyes. "Maybe on the way back we can stop and get... meat? What kind of meat can I get that's appropriate for a pregnant woman? I've been craving sushi, but Kato said no to that. Something about the mercury." She sighed and looked at Nadya, looking both tired and all too awake. "Let's get something to eat when we come back."
