Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He grinned as she rolled her eyes, his eyes lighting up as she confirmed that the cakes were theirs. He made did a fist pump in the air in celebration. "Yes! Dessert for the next month right there." He gave a wink, his mouth already salivating at the chance of getting to eat all of it. He was definitely an eater. When he told her he wanted ice cream cake, she gave him another roll of her eyes, saying it did display very well. He poke out his bottom lip in a pout as she went on to say picking both flavors would be challenging. He shook his head. "Nope. Cause I'll take rocky road and then you can have your vanilla. See? Winner, winner." He smirked teasingly. As she gave him the pink cake slice, she laughed when he asked if it tasted like cotton candy. She told him it tastes like heaven and he inhaled sharply.

"That's a tall order to fill, darling. I think there's only one thing that tastes like that in here and she's not on my plate." His eyes darkened with promise to let her know just what and who he was talking about. He took a bite of the cake and was rewarded with the best tasting cake ever. It was so delicious. He suddenly wanted to tell her he hated it just so he could eat the rest of it right now. But then, she'd already said he could finish them all off so this one would be first on his list. She told him not to knock it and he chuckled. "You're so right. It's delicious." When he asked if he could have his reward by picking the pink cake, she gave him a look and said that he could and he felt his heart instantly quicken. He felt himself tighten in anticipation elsewhere as well and his eyes twinkled with new ideas.

"Yay, me." He closed his hand around hers, following her obediantly toward the study. Curiosity came to life. Why were they going there? Hot sex on her desk or something? He could do that. The blood rushed south just picturing it. But as she pushed the door open, he swore he felt himself shriveling up in dismay as his face fell dramatically. Fabric was everywhere in all different shades. "Why do I get the feeling you're not planning on redecorating in here?" He muttered almost to himself. At her remark, he groaned in answer, his lips turning into a disappointed scowl as she turned to him. "You really know how to give a guy false hope, love." His voice was soft, tinged with sadness but still dripping with affection. He would humor her in this even if it was real cause she meant too much to him to let her down.
