Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

What better way to spend time with her new pet than playing at the new edition to the playground. This discovery one she absolutely had to share with Lady. Anna found an acceptable canvas bad from the pantry and offered it to her pet. Mentally the girl made a note to find a better bag to carry her pet around in than a beach bag. Anna smiled softly when her pet willingly climbed into the bag, albeit a it cautiously due to the stiff necklace around her neck. The vampire child wasted no time in heftng the bag up over her shoulder and leaving the manor for the fresh air outside.

The one-track mind was a blessing in this moment as no passing human deviated her from the planned playground. At least the panda could count that as a blessing not having to be a part of her hunting. Anna's pace hastened as they drew closer to that playground. The lengthening night hours meant that the playground had long ago been devoid of other children ushered home by their parents. Anna glanced down at her pet with wild excitement in her eyes at the towering structure, "Ready?"

Ready or not, Anna shifted the bag so the strap slipped ove her head, securing the bag against her body so it wouldn't fall. She gave the panda a little scritch on the head before approaching the tangled rope structure. Hand over foot she climbed upwards, dippping and weaving in and out as she went, creating her own path towards the sky. Anna took her time in the climb, simply enjoying the process of going higher and higher until they reached the metal platform some stories up. "Look, you can see over the trees." Anna pointed out for her pet to see the city lit up beyond the park. She took a moment to let Lady admire that sight before turning away to the first to the slidese down which was a tube straight down. The waning light meant it was hard to see beyond your hand down the slide. A tunnel of darkness.

Anna shifted the bag so the panda was in her lap as she sat at the top. "One...two...threeeeeeeee." That last count down drawn out as she pushed off, excelerating them down that slide as top speed. A shriek of glee escaped from her as they whizzed down. As it began to feel like that slide would never end they popped suddenly out on the other side. "AGAIN!" Her feet were hardly on that ground, gripping her pet and the bag to her chest, as she was wildly exclaiming to do it again.

Off to the ropes she went, making that climb once more but this time to the opposite slide which had several loops on the way down. Again Anna counted down before pushing off. This slide was a bit more tumultuous, twisting them about on the way down before spitting them out at the end. The ending was much more abrupt and landed Anna on her rear but instead of being disgruntled, she erupted in giggles as she looked down at her lap to see how her pet had faired in the bag down that one.
