Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Music to my heart

Wake up to your dreams
And watch them come true

Despite the nerves that pulled at her, Nadya couldn't help the warm smile that crossed her features at the thought of her twins and their...differences. "Well, as long as they're happy." Whatever the children ended up doing, as long as they were happy while doing it, then Nadya was happy too. That was the life of a mother, it all depended on the child's happiness. "I'd love to see what they can do now."

"We can go after you open this." Nadya leaned forward to retrieve the small gift bag and hand it over to Frost who appeared confused. That confusion only deepened as he pulled first the onesie then the ultrasound picture. His quietness caused that worried flutter of dread in her stomach. That nervousness that Frost may have decided against wanting a child of their own had Nadya quickly pointing out the different parts of the fetus on the photograph. Her words fell off as he interjected, questioning what she was talking about before he too fell silent...finally realizing what it all meant. That breath leaving him a moment later. It was near impossible to tell just how he felt with that singular statement and felt her holding her own breath. And then that soft smile of his tugged at his lips and she felt that breath she had been holding release. He still wanted this too! All at once his lips were on hers and with a smirk she eagerly returned that kiss. "Oh, please." Nadya giggled, rolling her eyes at Frost's comment. "I may have doubted your 'research' but I never doubted you would be capable if it was real." That much was the truth at least.

Nadya's gaze diverted to the stairs as the twins came traipsing down in their riding gear. Izzy was the first to reach them, throwing her top half to drape over the couch and grin widely at her mother then Frost. "Mama has a baby in her tummy!" And that was the solid reason why Nadya had sent the pair to be upstairs. There would have been no special announcement with Izzy's loose tongue. She also hadn't explained to the pair that Frost was the father of the baby. That talk she needed a bit longer to explain. Why was the baby his and not them? Nadya smiled softly and stroked Micah's hair as he joined them and leaned against his mother. "I just told him, Izzy. Are you ready to go to the barn? I'm going to come see what you've been learning too."

Izzy was beyond the moon and began to hop up and down like a rabbit towards the door. "Yup yup yup." Nadya uncurled herself with a giggle, brushing a kiss to Frost's cheek before standing up and taking Micah's hand. "You ready?" Whether that was for the barn or for the family of theirs that was to come was hard to tell.
