Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

Fortunately the task of teaching Tobias the proper etiquette in a home wasn't her responsibility anymore. If he was going to have a girlfriend then it was her job now. Her responsibility fell solely on making sure no one harmed the twins. Tobias' insistence upon seeing the twins made her nervous but at the same time a little reassuring. His curiosity meant he understood their existence and the fact they were his, at least to some degree. Perhaps there was hope for her to fully trust him someday. Nadya's calculating chocolate gaze watched the hesitant wild child enter the room and survey the contents. She subconsciously swayed from side to side to soothe Micah's fussy noises. "The twins are getting big; we'll have to get more toys." A smile tugged at her lips noting Tobias' delight at all the assortment of toys they had previously selected.

Nadya's whole body was beginning to relax until Tobias' feather light touch on Micah's arm caused him to jerk his arm and thus causing Tobias to lunge backward. Nadya reflexively tightened her hold on Micah and stepping back at his fast movement. The fire of impending change rippled through her in result. She was stronger in her feline form, her instincts knew this, though being able to tell her instincts when and where it was really necessary was a different matter entirely. "That's how he talks." Her voice was low as she kept a firm hold on Micah still a bit wary from Tobias' reaction. "They don't know any words so they make sounds. It's just like when you don't know a word you use a different way to make us understand you." She tried her best to speak calmly and slowly so that he would understand her. It was clear that the wild child had tamed if only slightly from the ginger touches he graced over Micah's skin once more so Nadya's wariness ebbed away.

The new fussiness from the crib drew Nadya's attention away from Tobias momentarily. The sound spoke to her of another need rather than just wanting to be held. "You have to be careful. Don't hold too tight...but don't drop him...and don't move too fast." Since their birth no one besides her or Isolt had held them so it was natural to be nervous. She did relinquish control perhaps only due to the increased intensity of Isabella's cries. Nadya carefully switched Micah into Tobias' arms before replacing with Isabella. "Do you remember when the twins were born? When we were in the forest?...Do you understand why the twins are yours?" Nadya settled back on the bed truly wanting to know if Tobias could be taught the connection between their activity to her pregnancy to the birth. Casually though as Nadya spoke she bunched up the right side of her shirt, pushed aside the cup of her bra and brought Isabella to her breast which instantly quieted the hungry infant.
