Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

A part of Chizue was aware of the freedom in which she was giving her companion and yet...was this not what they were? Their very lives survived upon the taking from others. Damon, after all, was far more important to her than the waitress whose name she had already forgotten. Seeing to his needs, in turn, was equally more important - that was, until Damon reminded her of the pancakes she had just ordered. They were, after all, the entire reason she had initiated any conversation with the poor waitress in the first place! Her insistence that Damon should at least wait till she had her mean, even if she didn't require it, seemed to prompt a soft chuckle within the man. The sound of that laughter alone coaxed a giggle from the delicate Asian girl, her own simper near beaming in response as she added that his efforts to feed might result in clearing the whole dinner! She could hardly help that girlish giggle that bubbled from her again at his faux insult and yet, her shoulder rose in some vague shrug. Were not all of them capable of barbarism? Even Chizue had committed...accidents within her past, as much as she preferred not to think of them. Still, it was Damon's insistence that he preferred to sweet talk his prey that truly caused Chizue's intrigue. "Does it?" She inquired, altogether baffled by the concept. She had never, after all, told her prey her intentions to eat off of them. Would they feel different if she did? It was an intriguing concept. Maybe she'd have to try it...sometime.

For now, however, her attention was plucked from her companion by the return of their waitress with several items already on her tray. Chizue watched as two cups of coffee were placed upon the table, followed by a dish of what appeared to be a canned fruit medley, a blueberry muffin and, most importantly, the pancakes she had desired. It was the waitress' insistence that the rest would be coming out soon, however, that caused Chizue to merely shake her head. "Oh, one more thing!" She insisted, her voice alone prompting the waitress to pause. The chocolate brown of the young vampire's gaze, however, turned towards her companion as she nodded briefly towards the woman, giving Damon her permission. After all, the hashbrowns and omelette she ordered were hardly as important to her as the very dish that now sat in front of her. This one was what she had been waiting for and keenly, Chizue began to move the globe of butter around with her fork, all the while listening curiously to whatever moves Damon might wish to make on the poor, unsuspecting waitress.
