Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Aiden. That very name he seemed to keep for himself save for his family. It made sense, kind of. The woman was accepting his opinion of it. She nodded her head in silent agreement wanting to keep it between family... and her. She hadn't seen that one coming. Somehow, it made it seem special. However, there wasn't much time to dwell on any of it.. Things of this magnitude were better off not thought about for too long... Especially as the sweet aroma of breakfast somehow managed to reach all corners of the mansion. As if that very scent was used to beckon them from the temporary sanctuary of that very room that already seemed lived in, almost, there was one more thing even though it was far too easy to be reminded just how hungry you were when you caught a scent of something that good.. Was that bacon? She couldn't recall when the last time they had eaten even though it was clear her stomach remembered.. Far too long to be precise... Yet how could one think of eating when the world around them was nothing but a blur of lost time. In under 24 hours their entire life had changed in an unsettling abruptness of a level 8 earthquake. But at the very least, there was something salvaged from that wreckage. Mira unwilling to leave that room at least until she revealed all she had saved. The hispanic woman carefully placed those sentimental items she had rescued, on display before him upon the dresser table. To be honest, she was unsure how he was going to handle being reminded of the Ark's obliteration.

She could have held her breath and yet, after a short moment, his lips formed into a rare grin. That look made it all entirely worth it. It was more than just items. It was like a symbol of hope that it was not all lost. Hope.. it may have been seemingly out of reach but it was there as tangible as these items somehow. After the pair dressed and refreshed themselves they surfaced from the bedroom. It had to happen sooner or later. At least with some rest to recoup her weary mind... made the task of seeing his family again less daunting. Then again, anything could feel less daunting than the night before. She was sure of it.

They walked side by side, sockless and barefoot as they headed toward the kitchen where Matteo lingered and bustled about that kitchen. Mira was reminded that Dorian and Sebsatian must have kept a nocturnal schedule. Her golden gaze hardly expected... the impressive feast the fae had seemingly conjured into existence. It looked completely mouth watering all of it. Her gaze snapped toward the panther when he began sharing that private conversation that left her having to retaliate. Anything to keep him from sharing those words. A short-lived playful battle to deter him that ended in her demise. How she hoped that he was only trying to tease her, that at the last minute he would say something else. Held securely within Tetradore's strong arms she could do little to stop him, her own limbs pinned to her sides while he happily sang like a bird! Matteo watched on with an expression that was hard to read as he remained at the stove and tended to something that smelled delicious within the sizzling pan. The woman could do little but huff. Her golden gaze rose dramatically to the ceiling as she was met with Matteo's laughter.

Yeah.. yeah. A playfully defeated sigh escaped her. You could not unring a bell. That legitimate concern was out. Matteo was quick to assure her that the man who just released her from his temporary hold was not that kind of man which prompted Tetradore's own chuckle. She swatted at him after he released her to walk away to the island.

Food, at least, was a safe topic.

She could only wonder how long it took for Tetradore's youthful father figure to make all that food. Did the Frenchman even get any sleep at all? Surprise shone upon her gleaming feminine features as she took her place beside the rascal of a man whom... was suddenly, publicly, her rascal of a man who possessed an ease she hadn't quite seen before, his family.. Was good for him.

Matteo went over the wide array of dishes he had prepared. She could already taste the bacon. It smelled even better with it within reach, her stomach grumbled in agreement. For a brief moment, she seemed baffled by the frenchman's words. Why would she want cereal? "How could anyone want cereal when there is all of this in front me?" it seemed utterly obvious. Matteo seemed to even the score by betraying Tetradore. He seemed offended.. Even now. Oh that packet stuff was... Mac and Cheese. Mira seemed unable to grasp why it was so bad, she knew the alpha possessed a weakness for it. Mira could hardly help that amused sound that escaped her. They always had shelves full of the stuff. Always. Tetradore piped up before Mira could respond, along with a solid glare he shot toward the fae. Of course... she didn't point out that he always had kept a fully stocked kitchen. Surely he had to know that more than Mac and Cheese existed in there. On second thought.. When did Tetradore ever enter the kitchen? Although the fae seemed a little melodramatic. As if Mac and Cheese in a box was the greatest betrayal. While it wasn't restaurant material... it wasn't THAT bad. Hadn't he ever tried it?

Mira offered those drinks, as Tetradores gaze lowered toward his phone. Mimosas she could make those. That desire to contribute clearly there. It was the least she could do. She hugged around the island and pulled what she needed from the fridge after Matteo gave her the go ahead. She placed the ingredients upon the table, next to everything, conveniently those glasses already out and waiting. The kitchen was huge... it would have been impossible to find it all on her own. While distracted with her task... It was startling to see suddenly a charger tossed toward Aiden that he asked for. Huh? Where did that come from? "Do you always keep chargers in the kitchen?" Mira inquired before she returned to the other side of the island, settling next to Tetradore, casually glancing over at the cargo ships that Tetradore was glancing at the massive ships as he thumbed through the list of locally available ships for sale. The choices seemed.. Slim.. Was it even possible to find another ship exactly like the Ark? Maybe... they didn't have to. Maybe it was time for something new.

Mira helped herself to some of that hot food after Matteo pronounced the meal ready.

"Thanks. This looks really good." Mira chimed in but her eyes had strayed from Tetradore search and onto that awaiting food. It was the mention of Alexander arriving. Another one? Oh was that the one that Matteo tried to desperately stop Dorian from texting. "The Alexander that probably has a thing or two to say about.... The events of last night?" Would they get to hear it? She wondered idly.

She had already begun serving herself, placing a plate toward the distracted Tetradore who was happily munching away on his procured fruit. Matteo uttered that duty to keep the croissants safe. "I'll do my best..." To stand in the way of the alpha and... baked goods could be close to suicide. She knew how seriously the man took his baked goods! Although Mira seemed far more curious as to this conspiracy that he mentioned. The man looked entirely boyish as he rested his chin on his hand, peering up at her. He had trouble written all over his face. She swore the man's expression looked permanently guilty...

Just like that Matteo was suddenly gone.

"That man is a whirlwind." She laughed shaking her head. She could hardly imagine what this Alexander was like next. Could this house handle two of them?

Mira turned to Tetradore then. Wondering what Sebastian did to piss off Tet's father. "Do I want to know what Sebastian did to make it on your father's bad side?" She took a few full bites of some of the still hot eggs, wanting to try a little of everything. When was the last time she had a feast for breakfast?

The pair leisurely began to work their way of that exquisite food..."I'll help you look." Mira offered, determinedly. Mira slipped her hand within her pocket to procure her phone to look alongside Tetradore. Mira then scrolled through the countless results that appeared in a quick google search that was filled with far more fluff than anything.... None of it seemed right. She put in several other keywords... thinking of things that best described Tetradore. She knew how he loved his luxurious cars, his taste for the finer things. Why not a boat to resemble that? Hm. Maybe she was onto something. She had paused her eating as she was suddenly surprised with her recent result. Oh wow.. Now that was a boat. Damn. It was indulgent, that was for sure. Her thumb swept across the screen scanning picture after picture. Each seemingly better than the last. Every last detail of the ship screamed to scream grandeur. This was worth showing him at least. She elbowed Tetradore after taking a sip of her mimosa, Tetradore and whoever else had one if they desired. "Look at this one." She stood up, so that she could rest behind him, sliding her phone before him, resting her chin upon his shoulder. "They call it a superyacht. Clickbait never was more accurate. It has a pool... a massive gym that looks big enough to serve for the fighting ring.. And oh... there is everything.. A movie theatre.. My god.. How can anyone ever afford a place like that." She laughed light heartedly, clearly forgetting just who she was talking to with millions upon millions of dollars simply sitting in the driveway..

She allowed him to look before she reached to pilfer one of those chocolate croissants, knowing well enough they were a thing to be coveted. She could see why Matteo was worried that there would be nothing left for Sebastian and Dorian. They were to die for.

She ran an idle hand through her soft espresso hued locks. "When pigs fly, huh? Maybe.. We can get some ideas from this.. I can't even imagine how much something like this would be. There is even a place for your fleet.. It probably needs a little customizing though.." But little did she know how close to reality and within their grasp it actually was. But if they were to make something more custom... it would certainly take some time...to get the pack back together. But like a lot in life.. Somethings were worth waiting for. "What do you think? Too much?" Maybe the alpha... was rubbing off on her.. just a little.
