Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

in a moment we're lost in passion

dancing with this chemical attraction

That bright neon color that afflicted all of Arlo's hair was eye-catching, to say the very least. Sebastian found himself nearly incapable of looking away, at least until Arlo pointedly shoved him, securely placing his jeans back upon his hips. His attempt to make excuses for himself, however, was met with little more than another firm stare, one that Sebastian merely shrugged at. He watched as Arlo strode back into the bathroom, woefully attempting to wash the bright shade from his locks. The vibrant red slowly seemed to fade and yet, it was hardly just that dampened strand of hair that was affected. Rather, Sebastian watched in vague inquisitiveness as Arlo's whole head began to shift shades to a deep, near despondent, though none the less vibrant, blue. How...unexpected. Even so, the vampire stepped forward, determined to be heard through his friend's panic as he made an effort to reassure the younger musician that, regardless of the shade of his hair, Abigail would hardly care. He watched as Arlo's brow rose dubiously, the vampire hardly believing him as he countered with a question of how Dorian would feel if he returned home with neon hair.

A soft chuckle left the vampire's lips as he leaned back upon the door frame once again. "He would...question my sanity and there would be a media...meltdown to deal with but....at the end of the day, he'd still love me...and probably not divorce me. I suspect Abigail would feel the same way." Dorian, he was certain, had hardly fallen in love with him for the color of his hair - the vampire too remembering well that evening in which they had...experimented...with paint. Sebastian had been far more...perturbed about the blues and greens that had tainted his locks than Dorian had. Still, regardless of how his lover might react, it was Sebastian's duty to at least attempt to help, even if he was certain that whatever this was hardly had to do with the vampire's venom or the very sexual act the pair had just engaged within. After all, his own...unique chemical compound consisted largely of chemicals already found existing within the body, human or otherwise. No - this was the result of something else...something magical. He watched as a frown flittered across Arlo's features, the vampire considering any involvement he'd had recently had with any supernatural.

That small shake of Arlo's head caused his brows to furrow ever so slightly in consideration - that was until Arlo remembered some plausible witch he had practically verbally assaulted. The idea of it caused Sebastian's brow to rise ever so slightly as the vampire shrugged half-heartedly. "I....guess it's possible...it would be an appropriate sort of revenge...I suppose." The vampire responded, only to instead inquire if, perhaps, it was one of Arlo's affinities instead. After all, two weeks was a long time for a witch to wait for something so....pedantic. He was hardly surprised by Arlo's admittance that the man hadn't yet discovered the full breadth of his capabilities. The very admittance all but confirmed to Sebastian exactly what this was, even if it was a bit....unusual. A soft chuckle left his lips at Arlo's expletive and yet....he could hardly blame the man in the slightest. "I don't know, mate," Sebastian answered with a chuckle on his lips that he truly tried to subdue.

The vibrancy of his crystalline gaze followed the near flailing gesture of Arlo's hand, his eyes lingering upon the deep blue of the man's hair. "Well...a rave is the type of place you're more likely to frequent?" Sebastian offered, likely unhelpfully and yet...he highly doubted that this was any sort of...animalistic camouflage or mating ritual. After all, if there was any such one thing Sebastian knew, it was the pheromones that drew even animals together. He was hardly oblivious, however, to the way the shade of his friend's hair continued to shift as the man spoke, the slow fading hue caused his head to tilt to the side ever so slightly in consideration. "My...'sex-god powers', as you put it...is reflective of who I was when I was mortal," Sebastian commented, a grin dancing across his features as he continued, "Perhaps your....color changing...hair is a homage to that rock-star life you had. It's changed again, by the way."
