Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

I know some things should just stay broken

i'm well aware this should remain unspoken

A visible frown marred the warlock's features as he eyed the angry colors that littered his ex's frame. Henry's insistence that it was somehow...penance for all that had happened to Sterling only furthered the frustration within the boy as his eyebrows furrowed. "Henry..." He started with an audible sigh of exasperation, " I.." He stopped before he could even start, as another soft breath left his lips, his hand rose to run through his ebony locks. "This isn't...penance. I don't want this." His head shook as he handed Henry the towel, only to turn away from the man, his fingers gently kneading at his temples. Last night had been...nice. Too nice, really. It had almost been enough to make Sterling forget all the things that had occurred between them, to make him consider letting his ex back into his life. And yet, now that the evening was over and morning had come, that peacefulness between them seemed to vanish as the stark reality of how...different they were once again set in. Sterling knew what it was like first hand to have his body mutilated, that feeling was not one he wished upon anyone, even his ex. He could hardly stand to look at those angry bruises, especially knowing their existence was because of him. He leaned against the door frame, presenting Henry with his back as his bright blue eyes pointedly watched his dozing familiar.

Sterling could hear Henry moving behind him, drying off his physique and getting dressed once again in his clothes. It was only at the man's inquiry that Sterling glanced over his shoulder, only for his shoulders to lift in a vague shrug. "She seems about the same as last night." He supposed the fact that she was no worse was a good thing and yet...he'd have to do something about the poison running through her system...particularly before it began to affect him too. He shook his head, pushing the thought away for now at the soft sound of Henry sucking in a breath - that pain clearly worse then he made it seem. It was only that offer of breakfast that saw the Warlock turn, his arms crossed over his chest in a clearly closed off position as he considered the query. "I'll eat if you heal yourself." He muttered after a moment, the Warlock utterly refusing to allow his ex to suffer when he didn't have to.
