Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

With Amelia being a vampire, Troy never expected to be a father. He'd never even thought it was something he wanted to begin with, really. His brother, Kit, he was the family man. He was the one who wanted to carry on their legacy in the fae world and have children, but Troy only remembered a nightmare of a childhood growing up. He watched his own mother die. His father all but abandoned them. He was only ever as good as his weapon when it came to hunting. His only other hobby growing up was protecting his older brother, Kit. Troy didn't want to bring a child into the darkness he knew of this world, but now that he had Tenley, he wouldn't trade being her father for anything. She was his world. It was a major surprise when he found out Amelia was pregnant, but he couldn't imagine ever being happier than he was the day he found out.

He wanted to spoil his daughter with everything she could ever imagine in this world. He and his fiance hadn't discussed having another child, but then again, he wasn't sure if the miracle of Tenley's birth could be replicated. The moment his vampire lover turned to glare at him over his comment, he ducked his head sheepishly. He hadn't meant to make light of it and he hated seeing her freaking out. He just didn't know what to say. The fae was still coming down from that amazing orgasm he just had and his brain was still all fuzzy. Yet apparently, Amelia had no problem jumping straight to panic mode. He didn't know what to say to make her feel better. He flinched a little when she told him it was worth trying, nodding a little as he ran a hand through his hair. "Okay, we can try it." He was trying to do whatever he could to comfort her at this point.

When Amelia said it wasn't there, whatever "it" was, he scowled. "Is it something I can go buy for you? I can be quick." He offered. But then she broke down. His face softened as his fiance fell to the floor in a sobbing mess. "Ssh, honey, it'll be okay. We'll get through this. Tell me what I can do, please." The man bent down on one knee, fully intending to take her in his arms, but Amelia was ever the independent one. She stood up right as he was reaching for her, going for a towel before heading straight to the bed. He slowly stood as well, watching her walk away with a sad look. Finally, he sighed and ran another hand through his hair before following her to the bed. "How can I make this right, my love? Say it and its done."
