Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The stars in their orbits

For Nadya's feline species, the warmth that Frost emanated may have been subtle but her senses reached out to it once she was perched on the arm of the couch. The first experience she had of his power had been nothing short of an icy blast which made her recoil so found this alternate side of his power much more appealing. It made Nadya want to close that small distance between herself and Frost and join in on the warmth. She had to remind herself to not let down her guard around him just yet. Frost may have come baring gifts but she was no fool to the tactics of the prying Were. Her brother should be proud at how well his sister had kept information about their pack so well guarded. With both twins now comforted and quiet once more, the two adults were left to continue their conversation though it was more a twisted game of word play and beating around bushes. Nonetheless it was one of the more intelligent conversations she had been graced with in a while. Nadya hadn't questioned Frost about his desire for a pack for her own curiosity but had hoped he would see that his reasons for making one were the very same that kept her in hers. Nature deemed it...there was safety in numbers. Surely some men could hear a woman explain something and never understand until they said it themselves.

Nadya did however listen to Frost's tale of his own childhood. He had let through that he wasn't originally from this land, a fact that was supported by the strange language he just spoken moments ago, and that he had far too many half-siblings. "No wonder you left. I can't imagine having to get ready in the morning with that many siblings hogging the bathroom." Yes, Nadya could still turn around a perhaps precious memory on Frost. Majority of Weres were born into packs that held some form of hierarchy that was either in their favor or not. Some packs followed more closely their wild counterparts than others and it seemed that was the case with Frost; one stallion ruled over the herd and was the only father. Nadya honestly couldn't imagine being related to every other child, nor the thought of having to leave her pack in order to find love.

Then of course came the punchline. Again Nadya was no fool and since the beginning knew Frost was fishing not just for information but people for his pack. There was strength in numbers of course. Nadya showed no surprise as Frost's sudden change of topic, declaring her pack inadequate and offering his instead. "It's always been my brother, Tobias and I. Our mother and father took on a vampire coven to save us. We were separated and now are together again. Time has passed and memories are faded but the bond is still there. I'm sure you know, even if one of your siblings did something stupid you'd still protect them." She kept her tone very matter-of-fact, showing no sorrow about her family's past. However, Nadya did slide off from her perch and replace Micha into the mobile before turning to Frost and holding her hands out for Izzy. "Do you truly think that it'd be so easy if I said yes that we'd just ride off into the sunset?" And yes, Nadya did stress the word ride as pun with a smirk on her features now.
