Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

aiden tetradore

There was a wholly palpable twinge of anticipation radiating off of the demure vampire, the excitement of finally grasping that which she had wanted most invaded the man's otherwise placid soul to bring him a peculiar sense of satisfaction. It wasn't often that Tetradore made a measurable effort to provide any sort of gift to those that surrounded him. However, those few times in which the man did go through such attempts he did so with persistence and perhaps a small display of extravagance. She was surely no different. The vampire had asked of him what she had deemed impossible and despite his lack of presence, Tetradore had made every effort to deliver. He followed the woman with some measureable amount of patience towards the bedroom and the fire escape that was fastly attached to the brick exterior beyond the thickly drawn curtains of her window sill. Not a comment was made at her marked hesitance upon the threshold, instead answered only by a silent understanding of the habits that were so deeply integrated within her. The sun had become her mortal enemy and here he was asking her for her unwavering trust that the little vial of unearthly liquid would keep her safe.

Still, whatever lingering uncertainty blossomed within her chest seemed to diminish entirely as she threw open the curtains, stepping out onto the grated platform that dangled outside. Tetradore made a quick effort to follow her, noting the fashion at which she seemed to hold herself back from bounding up the staircase and onto the roof beyond. His head shook ever so slightly in a small display of amusement at her exuberance, pleased that he was able to coax such emotion from the woman. After all, it was largely thanks to him that she had found herself in her current predicament - questioning the mortal life she'd once lived with only but a leaching immortality as a gift. Never the less, Tetradore joined her at the edge of the rooftop, his emerald eyes immediately finding the skyline of which the sun should peak over in hardly that much time at all. The sky was already beginning to lighten, the blackness vading to a cold navy before changing from violent to a soft, promising pink.

His eyes shifted from the horizon to the girl at his side and the vial grasped tightly within her slender fingertips. It was the moment of truth, the moment in which she would be faced with that which she had been denied. A small encouraging simper graced the man's features, a small nod of encouragement given to her and yet such subtleties seemed to be enough to cause her to tilt her head back and let the magic work - dancing across her skin to protect her with a bewitchment that only she seemed to feel. It was not a moment too soon, truthfully, as but moment's later the glorious sun peaked it's head over the horizon to cast colors and glows of warmth upon the pallor of her skin. It was her moment - one that Tetradore hardly saw fit to interrupt and so, instead, he found himself a seat with his feet dangling off the edge of her building. He leaned back upon his elbows, the intensely vibrant green of his pupils watching the shades merge into one another in a dance he'd seen far too many times to truly appreciate. It was only with the weight of her crystalline eyes upon him that caused his attention to deviate, his gaze meeting hers just long enough to inquire. "Is it everything you remembered it to be?"
