Hawethorn Village

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

It had, perhaps, crossed the were-creatures mind that to deliver unto the youthful vampire the gift of what she had prior thought an inconceivable experience might end in a taunt battle of wills. He had considered the possibility that he might be bringing her to a gilded death. It was even the most minute probability of this that had caused the man to pay considerable more for the assurances of exactly how much time he would have to drag her from her paradise - only to have her detract from his self imposed sentinel position. He would have quite nearly hauled the petite appearing female into the vehicle if she had not acquiesced to his insistence - his determination in this matter was that resolute. Thankfully, the young woman yielded at his admittance that she was singularly as meaningful to him as the sun's golden rays too were to her. He fell to silence as he ushered her into the car, hardly wasting time before taking up his position in the driver's seat. The wheel of the vehicle was far too comfortable within his hands, his emerald gaze glancing with urgent concern towards the clock on the dashboard as the luxury vehicle sped through the streets in an effort to make their increasingly diminishing time limit.

It was only the sound of her whispered lyrics that saw his attention deviate from the road in front of them, his vibrant eyes momentarily glancing towards her before shifting back to the dashed lines on the streets. "I know." He commented simply, hardly needing any further explanation from her to understand the sensations of yearning that fluttered through his breast. After all, for years he had been caught behind leather doors and boisterous crowds, unable to enjoy the rise of the full moon in the fashion that his animal half yearned for. He remained silent despite her promise that this would be one gift she would remember far past tonight, instead considering his words with particular care before he voiced with a hint of uncertainty, "That is what gifts are for." There was a small shrug on his shoulders, downplaying his efforts in the fashion that he so often did.

There was a soft breath of relief the moment her apartment building came into view. The man could hardly deny the anticipation of the safety the darkness within would provide his vampire companion. He was all too aware of the hesitance within her movements as she unlocked the door, willing to let her pause long enough to take one final glance before ushering her within. He paused just over the threshold, watching the simper that crossed her fair features. His gaze remained steadfast upon her as she turned towards him, all too aware of the sensation of her lips brushing against his cheek. He felt her sink against his chest in a gesture that was entirely unexpected and slowly, his arms raised to embrace her, holding her slender figure with a gentleness that was atypical of him. For a long moment, he was content to simply stand there with her in his grasp before slowly pulling away from her, his lips brushing against her forehead. "You should get some rest, Isolt." He spoke softly, his concern for her welfare once again shining through despite all else. "I promise, I'll come see you again soon." It was with that word, that declaration that Tetradore would leave her with after their goodbyes had been uttered. Maybe, just maybe, she might now hold some glimpse of the effort that he was willing to put forward for her sake.
