Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

He is entirely aware of the muttering beneath her breath, the irritated words she hisses with both her voice and her mind as he continues to bury her beneath a tirade of knives until she performs the task in a manner he deems acceptable before finally allowing her a moment to pause. He can very near feel her dislike of him rolling from within herself, the frustrations of her mind caught in snippets as her thoughts shift and change and yet he hardly finds he cares. He held no desire for her affections. He merely desired that she might somehow come to appreciate her own value, strengthen herself into something and someone of use rather then this cowardly little creature she tended to become. The sudden appearance of the dog sees the young woman change once more, Frost content to simply watch as if the very scene before him fails to move him at all. He knows Alexis is afraid, can feel it within the woman, can hear it within her mind and yet it is almost as if, finally, she reaches some sort of peak, as if she can simply no longer take it anymore as she screams and his own features frown. Her shield has failed over and over and yet it is hardly the cry of someone frustrated to the point of defeat. The sound hardly that of a terrified being any longer as she takes command of a bow, one for a moment he believes he has given to her accidentally before firing it into the dog.

Both eyes simply raise as he stands silently, watching the dog topple over, bleeding out and onto the grass before it disappears, the bow allowing with it, the equine content to contemplate what he has just witnessed for several moments before the side of his lip quirks upward and his gaze falls onto Alexis' own- the fox staring towards him with evidently dumbfounded surprise.

"Very good. Pushing yourself, or having someone do it for you isn't all that bad now is it? You developed a new power out of it, you just needed a little help to get there. You can thank me any time you want."

He moves forward now, away from the tree he had been leaning on, hands tucked into the pockets of his jeans as he strides towards the girl, a jerk of his head gesturing her to follow him back inside now and into the warmth of the house, away from the chill outside and the rain that was beginning to fall. The back door leads both directly into the kitchen, the equine gesturing loosely once more to the dining table and the nearest wooden chair. It takes barely a moment for the man to place a glass of water in front of her, along with the entire basket of muffins Claire had baked only that morning.

"You can eat now."

He knows entirely how it will irritate her to be commanded and yet he finds he hardly cares. She had used more power then she ever had before and if she wished to collapse onto the floor out of pride then let her. She could lay there all day for all he cared, her life, as she had contemplated- meant nothing to him. Not yet, anyway. His own form moves to seat itself opposite her, snatching at least one muffin for himself before regarding her now.

"You are much stronger then you know Alexis and perhaps you think my methods overly harsh- but have you ever had that power before? Have you ever felt so much of it? It was hard, I know, but you.......did very well. It will be easier next time. Tomorrow- we will do it again."

She truly had no choice in the matter. The compliment he offered a rare and fleeting thing, for the man is not given to such words. She should appreciate such a thing.
