Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Now I am Unbreakable

I find it puzzling that he makes a mention that he is creating a pack and not a herd. I see no other male within the ranks. Perhaps he does mean truly that he is creating a pack, and a male candidate has not come along, and yet I will tuck this piece of information and think about it at another time. As Riot begins to leave I take Frost hand, as he offered it to me, and stand up not aware that as an Alpha he was a bit touchy. I mean he took a strand of my golden hair and pushed it back behind my ear, which I will not lie, it left me a bit warm and tingly inside. Am I having feelings for him? That can't be right, right? I mean all guys touch their girl's hair and push it behind their ear, it isn't a romantic gesture. Well, it is, but I doubt he is doing that in such a way. I am sure he is just trying to be friendly, yes friendly. When I make a comment about how the others would perceive me as being owned by him, because apparently my species believes in having males own females. When he questions my own inquiry I stare up at him thinking that it did matter. Of course it mattered. I am judged far too quickly without proving myself? That I am to automatically be seen not as an individual, but an object. How degrading it feels to be considered such a vile thing. When he offers to make it clear what I am to him I give him a slow nod in agreement, appreciative that he would attempt such a thing.

I follow him quietly to the backyard heading for the rather large trees that he told me the first time I came that this would be an area where I could change at peace and privacy. The order for me to take off my clothes made me feel a bit odd, I can't rightly describe, but I can say it sounded nice when he said it. I know, odd, but it is true. As he moves away and out of might sight I let out a soft sigh as I slowly begin to undress, folding my clothes and placing it inside a hole within the tree. I do not feel cold, as I should, rather I still feel warm, thanks to his power that he had shown me the first time we met. Closing my eyes I tried not to think about shifting. After all, I needed to feel it happen and not force it. Eventually it comes, I can feel the blood within my veins heat up, I let out a soft cry as I crumble to the ground. I can feel my skin start to light on fire as I begin to shift feeling my form get larger. It doesn't take as long as the first shift, but it still remains difficult. With a soft whicker I manage to shift my legs on the ground, rising upwards, attempting to get use to my heavy form. Slowly I walk forward towards the shadows, feeling the bond between us tighten, both dark ears point forward with interest. I cannot help it but when I get closer to him, I bump my nose against his neck and tuck it neatly underneath his chin for a moment inhaling his familiar scent for a moment. With a flick of my ivory banner I follow after him.

As we plough through the snow I notice how my massive hooves make deep imprints in the snow and I cannot help but move my right hoof forward and kick some of the snow in the air. Delighted I attempt this again, only to stumble a bit, and return to walking like normal again. Apparently I'm still new to this. I notice how he slowly increases his speed and I feel the urge to match him, keeping my shoulder next to his, determined to remain at his side completely. Finding myself not focusing on my movement but rather trusting my instincts to take over. I do not think about the town behind us. When we reach the clearing through the woodland I bring my dial upwards sensing something in the chilled wind. Puzzled I look around attempting to get used to seeing on either side of me, wondering just what it was that made me feel so....lively. With a soft snort I breathe in the scent and catch the familiar scent of Frost, and others a few distances away. I can hear that thundering noise, both ears flicked back and forth with interest. Eventually I see the small group come towards us, staying still and firm beside Frost, not minding the brief glow of the moonlight touching my obsidian hide. I look over to Frost as he speaks and I am not really sure what to expect so I just stay quiet and still.

As the dark mare nearly collides into Frost I don't bother to move, watching as the two do not invade my space, bright blue eyes follow the view of the colt as he slides. Though my attention is given to the chestnut mare, Riot, and the dappled grey stallion. As Frost begins to introduce me to everyone I follow my dial to face each one he mentions, but it is when the grey dappled stallion comes to extend his nose to mine, I quickly jerk it away from him. I do not know him and I am not sure what he wants. But my ears slide back against my dial, a subtle warning perhaps, I like my personal space thank you very much, and Frost is the only one that I will allow to invade it. I eye him carefully as he interrupts Frost. When this...Vanish questions which kind of name I have, I cannot help, but tilt my dial curiously. Equine name and real name. Why in the world would I have a name that was only meant for me to use as a horse. I know I shouldn't sound so very...stupid, so with as much confidence as I could muster, I respond in kind to him.

"That is my name, I do not have an equine name...why would I have one?"

Well, I hope I said something right and didn't make am embarrassment of myself or Frost.
