Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

The demands of his beta not to threaten the man she held a very evident affection for is met with little more then the lift of a single violet eye. If she wished to discuss the manner in which he spoke to the man whom had violated his dining room table, destroyed his bathroom and ruined much of his lounge room then he is assured such a conversation is better held in private. Pack affairs, in any sense of the word, are better not displayed before a man with no loyalty to either side, nor does the stallion find her tone particularly appealing and yet for now at least he is willing to let the matter pass. There would be time for corrections later on. For now at least Frost remained content to focus upon only that which needed his more immediate attention, ignoring Edie's apparent dilemma over what title to assign to the African man she had forced onto the couch beside her. He offers the words to her mind alone, the tone with which he delivers them perhaps far softer then they might have otherwise been were they to find their way from his lips. They remain true enough however. He does not find himself mad with the woman. Irritated, perhaps, that she had allowed herself to judge a situation so poorly and yet her contrition was certainly clear enough. One mistake was easily forgivable. One mistake was a learning experience far more then it was a crime and he is content to afford her that. Besides- Nadya was a decidedly spirited being when she chose to be, the panther something of a spit fire, a clash of wills between the women seeming to have held an unanticipated ending, if not a very vaguely amusing one. Even so he sees little need to hold it against the woman before him, a second mistake would be less well tolerated. Yet the man holds little doubt Edie will seek to be tossed overboard again any time soon.

The tears that well in woman's eyes however see the equine momentarily caught off guard. He has never been entirely comfortable with tears in any fashion. He had been surrounded by them in his childhood and perhaps to an extent he has become almost unsettled by them despite the frequency with which they had surrounded him- though as always his features remain stoic, offering no true indication of any thoughts that stirred beneath. If her tears had surprised him however, her decision to cross the room and slide onto his lap is even more so. Her arms wrap themselves around him a manner then man is so decidedly unfamiliar with that for a moment he finds himself tensing, as if it is not a hug he had anticipated from such an action, her whispered thank you seeing his muscles release, if only slightly- relaxing into her embrace. His wounded side however, protests the entire action, a soft grunt of disdain forced from his lips before she moves away and he adjusts his position once more to better alleviate the pressure on side. It had been years since anyone had hugged him, though the gesture was not totally unwelcomed even if he did not understand it so entirely- her gratitude for tonight however was surely enough as his gaze returns at last to Kato. The African man content to assure him he had no intention of going anywhere. Jack? For a moment Frost merely stares towards him, the realisation of the nickname coming a moment later.

"Very amusing."

The utterly devoid manner in which the words are offered seem to indicate no actual amusement in it at all before Edie speaks, the girl seeming decidedly brighter now at the prospect of a shower, Frost willing to leave the pair to assist each other for the night, the thought of his own bed sounding decidedly tempting for whatever few hours of darkness remained. Edie's mention of his side however ensnares his attention a final time. Hmm. The girl was clever when she wanted to be, her dip in the ocean not having dampened her spirits entirely, or so it seemed. He had little intention of bringing it to the girls attention tonight, assured she need to recover and yet to have the burning sensation removed from it would assure himself a more comfortable night as he moves to stand. He offers little more then a nod by way of permitting her to do as she desired, lifting his shirt enough to expose the rather ugly wound that had taken up residence on himself in place of her own- the price for his own healing powers, allowing the girl to place her hands as need be before dropping his own power-based shields, allowing the manipulation of her healing talents to wipe the wound from him in turn. It is something of a loophole he has discovered tonight. His talents a near perfect antidote to her weakness and her's a cure for his own in turn. This he will not forget.

Edie...

She is close to him all the same and yet he still chooses to speak to her alone, eyes cast briefly back towards Kato before returning to the girl.

Do as you please with him but remember that loving someone....gives you a weakness. Be mindful of it, that is all. Not that he's your boyfriend, of course.

His thoughts linger, if only a moment, on just how easily he had fractured Tetradores pack by playing upon the simple weakness of their emotions, on how easy it was, even now, to coax the little fae girl Aiden so adored closer to himself. Even if Edie remained in denial about the African man her affection for him was clear, Frost hardly seeing any need to prevent it, indeed- he merely warns her of it all the same before moving to step past her.

"You two should get some sleep then, you both have an early start in the morning since you're going to be cleaning blood off the floors and furniture and fixing the bathroom."

That ghostly smirk touches his features ever so briefly as the young man merely continues to stride from the room, leaving no room for argument from either of them as he does. A single, final opportunity to tease at his Beta however is not readily passed up, his retreating form offering the woman a final, teasing thought aimed at her mind, the words a rather deliberate taunt aimed entirely towards her so apparently non-existent relationship with the man beside her
.
If you two are going to have a shower I recommend the downstairs one, it's larger and your non-boyfriend might be forced to be a little more imaginative then he has been so far- just saying. Goodnight Edie.
