Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Ashes to Ashes

Anna-Marie Belrose

It had been only a few nights since the night Crishlyn had found Anna sitting outside a hotel. Whether it had been a mistake to engage the vampire child in a game was hard to say but it had been quite like feeding a wild animal- you don't. Even if Crishlyn hadn't led Anna back to her home and invited her to stay, Anna would have sought the woman out again and again to play her twisted games. Where Anna's nights had been spent searching for her Sebastian and attempting to pry him into playing with her, since finding Crishlyn, the time she spent out searching became less and less. Her desire to play was far greater than a desire to find Sebastian so Anna remained close to Crishlyn. Why would she stray after all from someone who doted on her and gave in to her whims?

The sun had only begun to set but the child was wide awake and entertaining herself in wait for Crishlyn to wake. Of course she had her own room, which she used and was delighted with the decorating Crishlyn had done to it, but it hardly took more than an hour after sunrise before Anna would abandon her room and slip into Crishlyn's to lay with her, falling asleep with a lock of the woman's auburn hair wrapped around her small finger. Come night fall the little vampire would just as easily slip away to roam the mansion or outside looking for something to do. Tonight would be no different, Anna was sure of it as she explored the many rooms and halls of the mansion that was now her home.

It was the obnoxious rumbling sound outside that caused Anna's attention to deviate her attention from the globe she had discovered on the table in the library. Confusion and irritation laced her features as she quickly slipped down from the table and from the room to the balcony of the stairs that led to the first floor. Anna stooped down, keeping herself hidden by the wall as she peeked between the wooden rails and watched curiously some man waltz in with two women. Crishlyn hadn't mentioned living with someone else...especially a man. Briefly he disappeared out of view but she could hear their obnoxiously loud voices wafting upstairs which grated against the girl's nerves. They were going to wake Crishlyn and that just wouldn't do.

Anna was saved from the chore of going downstairs herself to dispatch them when the male came bounding up the stairs. The child quickly stood and took a few steps back, effectively placing herself in the middle of the hallway that led to Crishlyn's room. Her icy blue gaze narrowed at him, her fingers curling as her ability easily wrapped about his essence and with a flick of the wrist unleashed a mere example of what she was capable of at him. Her ability grabbed hold of his form, yanking him backwards up off his feet as if he had been sidelined by a linebacker. "You don't belong here...go away. You're too loud...and you stink." Anna grumbled at the man as she stood her ground. He smelled much like Sebastian did sometimes, of alcohol and...lust and it was something that the girl detested. The fact that it may have been Aidan's home too and it was her that was the odd one standing there in her long white nightgown blocking his way would have never crossed her mind.
