Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Burn it Down

I know Kohl has always been a late sleeper so it's no surprise to me at all that he's still in bed past noon. I was always the early riser, the jogger. And he's the night owl, the party boy. I would be a fool to think I've tamed that out of him. I've never trusted anyone outside of Viktor before he betrayed me. I still am clueless as to how Kohl managed to get past my wall and gain access to parts of me I never thought I had. It would be a lie to say I haven't been a little insecure while I've been away as to how he spends his nights, and with whom. I trust him; really, I do. It's just, I know that Kohl is not unpleasant to look at and he does have that annoying power to make others attracted to him. I would be a fool to think there's not temptation to be offered in Sacrosanct.

I will admit to my glee when I found him alone in bed this afternoon. The house, the room, it all smells like him and I'm addicted all over again. Even as I drop onto the sheets, the smell of his expensive cologne engulfs me and I'm in heaven. Of course I'd never admit that to him. So instead I cover it up with a scream sure to get him out of bed. It does just that. He bursts upward, his sheets wrapping around him like a cocoon and before I can say his name, he's already fallen from the bed. I lean over the edge, a grin curling at my lips as I watch him tumble around on the floor trying to un-entangle himself.

In his hand is a reading lamp and I can't help but chortle a little at the thought of Kohl raising his hand to anyone with a weapon, let alone me. He runs a hand through his golden locks, drawing my gaze for a moment in awe. I have come to adore almost everything about this man, including his thick locks of dirty blonde hair. It almost matches mine though not quite and he does so many tricks with it with just a bottle of hairspray and some gel. At the sound of my name, I draw in my breath, my gaze pulled to his lips. Watching the smile pull at his lips coaxes one to match from my own as he slowly rises and gets back in bed, careful to put the lamp back in its place. I nod my head in answer, pushing my teeth into the pillow of my bottom lip as I shift back on the bed to make room for him.

As his arms wrap around me, my breath is all but forgotten as he pulls me to his lap and pushes his lips to mine. I melt into his embrace, my arms wrapping around the arch of his neck as my fingers find their way into his mess of hair. My eyes close, breathing in his scent and I don't even care that he hasn't brushed his teeth yet today. When he reluctantly pulls back, his teeth graze my lip, causing goose bumps to find their way to my arms as my lips tingle like brand new. The words drop from his lips and I can only think to smile before I draw back ever so much to really look at him, my eyes turning playful. "Really? Cause it looks like your bed is doing a great job of keeping you company."
