Hawethorn Village
River Dale

Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

There are several moments in which Sebastian's word require a considerable amount of consideration on the part of the Fairy King. This mention of 'Her Majesty' seeing the softest of frowns mark his features in a momentary confusion. He had been away so very long that the notion of his fellow rulers and just who had succeeded who had become something of a tangle within his mind, the man entirely unsure as to which Queen had been the Queen in the days in which Sebastian himself had attended court. It was perhaps, something of an unimportant notion and yet, once, Dorian had been capable of naming nearly every ruler of every Kingdom. For now at least, the Fae is content to allow such thoughts to pass, though he shall surely revisit them on later if only for the purpose of finding out exactly which Queen this had been. His curiosity an often difficult thing to sate. This mention of Sebastian's own title, that of Baron, is simply stored easily within his memory for now, a subtle nod of assurance afforded to the man in the moments that follow before the pair move to make their way downstairs. Their walk to their next destination is halted only by Dorian's inclination to fulfil the vampire's earlier request and attempt to placate the worry that had so seemed to afflict him.

It would be decidedly unpleasant, of this Dorian is assured, to have Sebastian afflicted with any sort of worry for the rest of their evening. There is perhaps, a selfishness to his own designs in this, Dorian quite content to meet the vampires request if only to assure Sebastian's attention remained more firmly upon himself as opposed to the lingering doubt he may well faint from exertion. He had come, in even this short time, to truly relish nearly every moment he spent in the vampires company. It is all the better, surely, if Sebastian's conscious is equally as free to enjoy it. It was perhaps, an admittance he would surely never make and yet a certain part within himself simply desired to please the other man and as such the Fae finds himself with a neatly wrapped sandwich within his hands. One held upward to his companion with the no small trace of amusement- the simper with which he is so awarded dually noted. There is little, Dorian thinks, he would not do if only to earn himself such simpers as that or the soft brush of Sebastian's lips upon his own that follow. He had taken this man less than a half hour ago and yet still, still, this want for him existed. How truly ridiculous he had become in the wake of this. This emotion that so seemed to seize him so utterly and entirely in this man's presence. Ah, but how potent such a thing as love surely is- even within that delicate infancy that the Fae King so often failed to recognise for the truth of what it was.

It is easy to fall into step with his companion now, Dorian making an effort to take yet another bite of his sandwich despite the distinct lack of pleasure it caused him. How much of it he is required to eat to appease his companion remains to be seen, his thoughts for now far more inclined to consider other topics- his own simper softly tracing his features at Sebastian reply. A chuckle rolling smoothly from within his throat and into the night air. Dorian is assured his mind is forever given to hold within it a plethora of ideas to be tried, after all, it had taken him several centuries to find another so willing to partake of them, much less one of talent enough to carry them out to his satisfaction. Such time allowing the man to collect rather a number of ideas in every sense of the word. Yet he had, perhaps, not truly anticipated that which Sebastian could show him as he had so done tonight. Dorian's words offered entirely without reservation. In this, at least, the pair had never been less then forthright.

"I like what it is you showed me tonight, with the bath, if there are other places you know of outside of the bed itself I should like you to show them to me- in time."

Such things were entirely new to the King, different in every sense of the word, Dorian seeing little need as to why they cannot make use of Sebastian's apparent knowledge in this regard. He was perhaps, not yet ready to allow the man any such things outside of the house as he had one day promised he would, public affection still something of an oddity to him, yet he is entirely content to continue to explore any other fashion in which that might be done inside. His words pause only so long as it takes him to consume yet another bite of his sandwich. His slate-hued gaze returning to the man beside him, his voice soft once more.

"I should like to try giving you what you allowed me to take tonight, if you're not opposed. I think too, it should be easier for you to bite from such a position."

The very thought of such things seeing his lip curve upward. Dorian is, as always, utterly unashamed to merely voice his wants in this regard. The King content to offer Sebastian just what the vampire had allowed him tonight, affording the man his physique so entirely as had been given to him and too, affording that more bestial part of his companion equal consideration. Oh how he enjoyed that bite as much as the man himself!

"I have also considered that we might- ah, but perhaps I shall keep this one to myself. For next time. I shall leave you to wonder of it instead."

He is entirely capable of teasing without touch, a simper adorning his features once more as they draw ever-closer to the park. The man content to leave his companion a little wanting once again as had surely become the norm for the pair, this utterance of 'next time' spoken deliberately so. Assuring his companion he did, indeed, have every intention to see him again after this evening. Dorian has come to appreciate the night air as he had hardly done before, it was cooler in the evening and without the touch of the sun, the city too, seeming to possess an entirely different face beneath that veil of night. Even within his own time, to wander the streets after dark was simply not done, venturing out within the eve a pleasure to him all on its own. The park, in the least, is one area Dorian possesses some knowledge of- having visited it on several occasions. The Fairy King moves to lead from his companion as they pass between the gates, pausing briefly to consider his direction before heading towards a rather large, open, grassy area. The previously dark, quiet park is far more alive within such an area, a number of other people gathered upon this same field, most of them seated upon blankets or the grass itself. It takes only a moment of consideration before Dorian moves to do the same, lowering himself down and onto the grass as appears to be the requirement- gesturing for Sebastian to join him.

"I think we are required to wait now."
