South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

I'm not asking her to fight with me or stand against Frost. I'm sure she has her own reasons for following him. I just hope they're the right reasons. I can sense her pride and if anything, I admire her for her confidence. I of course wasn't always this confident myself. She tells me that Frost has apparently only shown his good side to her. He took her in when she needed it, just like he did for me after the fight with Raven and the Nightshade pack. My ear twitches with curiosity when she mentions how he likes her talent but that's none of my business so I decide not to ask. I know he has a thing for chaos and pain and power so I do wonder what her talent could be. That alone could be why he has her in his pack, why he dotes on her the way she says. He could just be using her.

I wonder if she's always this open with people or if there's just something trusting about me. I would never betray her trust or anything. That's not who I am. I like to see the good in everyone until proven otherwise. While her alpha might not be on my good list, she's never done anything to me so I consider her a friend until proven otherwise. I nod in acknowledgement. I'm not about to put down what she's said about him because for her, that's who Frost truly is. She doesn't know his other sides and me telling her isn't going to convince her. She'd have to see it for herself. I know myself that sometimes seeing really is believing. I smile softly. "Well I'm glad you're being taken care of."

I listen as she responds, a scowl forming on my lips as I shake my head with a gentle sigh. "I can't agree with you on this. Your first sentence is right. He takes care of himself first. But I don't believe he can truly care for someone. I believe it to be a front. Frost likes power, believes himself a true alpha who must have followers for the power it gives him. He only wants other surrounding him for benefits it gives him. I can't believe that he truly cares about anyone more than himself. What sacrifices has he made for you or anyone else that you've seen for yourself? When have you seen him put himself second, let himself be a victim for someone else's gain?" I prick my ears, truly curious of her answers.

I listen further as she admits that he's not perfect. I fight the urge to roll my eyes or show any negativity when she says that he cares about his pack. I nod my head. "Thank you. I just don't want you to end up in the same boat. I trusted him but for the wrong reasons. I won't make that same mistake again. I'm truly glad that you find purpose in his pack and that he's good to you. I hope it stays that way. My home pack wasn't all that good so I know well of men and manipulation. My father showed me just how worthless I really was and then hunted me down to put me out of my misery." I shake the bad memories away, not wanting to go into that.

When I look back at her, I smile. "I just hope our differences in opinion won't keep us from possibly being friends. It's nice to know other WereFoxes. What do you do for fun?" My blue gold eyes sparkle with curiosity as my tail waves behind me. Maybe it's time to get away from the negative subjects and focus on better things. Like having fun!
