South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Gingerly the warlock's lips brushed against those of his boyfriend's, his body nearly immediately dragged into a hug and yet, Sterling was hardly bothered by such a reaction. Instead, his body seemed to so naturally relax in Henry's arms - in perhaps the only place Sterling felt truly safe. It was silly really, and yet, Sterling could hardly deny those feelings. Regardless, he pulled away from his lover after a moment, a bright simper lighting up the man's features as he reached down to place his hand in Henry's offered one. His fingers intertwined with Henry's own as he allowed his companion to lead the way down the sidewalk and towards their intended goal for the day - even if Sterling had half of an idea what such a date would soon consist of. His head bobbed ever so slightly as Henry commented on the picnic basket that dangled from his fingertips and yet, he could hardly deny the prospect of food was...well, enticing. "I'm starving." He responded, with a warm grin on his features, entirely determined to enjoy this blissful autumn afternoon with his newfound boyfriend. It was still peculiar to think Henry was his, hell, he still found that stupid grin upon his features at times when Henry wasn't looking. He still felt those flutters of butterflies in his chest at the brush of Henry's hand. How utterly childish he'd so become!

Nevertheless, Sterling simply enjoyed that walk, his bright blue eyes so observing as they began to leave downtown and instead drift further south. The park, once they had arrived, was an entirely welcomed sight. The man was instantly aware of exactly the day Henry so alluded to - that afternoon he'd so pulled the man against him if only because that blush that had filled his cheeks had once been so mystifying to him. And now look where they were. "I think it's wonderful Henry." He offered in an effort to reassure the man, settling down next to him with a warm simper upon his own features. He watched as Henry pulled out the contents of the picnic basket, entirely curious of what Henry had packed in the contents of the basket. Sterling was hardly surprised to see the glass bottle of beers, however, the rest of the contents of their lunch was entirely a surprise for the man. He knew well of Henry's ability to cook and yet, all that mattered in that simple moment was the fact that Henry had put this all together for him. He reached out, picking up one of the sandwiches in an entirely pleased fashion. "I'm sure it's great...thank you." He uttered softly, leaning ever so slightly to the side so his shoulder rested against that of his boyfriend's. It was only once he'd found comfort in the closeness between the two that Sterling brought that sandwich to his lips, biting into it enthusiastically.
