South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

At the heart of everything, Anna was, if nothing else, still a child so very curious and intrigued about anything new. There was so very little that was new to her after all. Anna's focus abandoned the woman for that of the oversized spider web that her prey had gotten caught up in. She disliked creepy crawly creatures and voiced such an opinion to the woman. The woman's constant chattering was beginning to grate on Anna, distracting her from her investigation of the strong yet delicate strings that strung along. Truly she considered just wrapping her ability about the woman and snapping her neck...only hunger kept her from doing so as she would never feed from the dead.

It was during her sizing up of the web that her senses picked up a near silent shift before newcomers feet touched down behind her. Anna's body stiffened slightly though not in fear or surprise but in defense of the meal that she felt was hers. Her crystaline blue gaze slid over to the hooded form as he spoke. "Looks like a spider though." She commented lightly in response though she took a small shift back to allow the man to demonstrate just how his web was better. Although Anna allowed this stranger to move about, her gaze was ever honed on him, watching his every movement. She wasn't in the habit of trusting just anyone; women were more likely to coax her guard down than men. She held a habitual dislike for men and was easily provoked by their mere presence sometimes.

Anna's eyes widened a second at the sparks that surged, "Pretty." It held her attention then. How often did you come across electric spider web? The woman's now limp body after her abrupt shout of surprise and pain was hoisted with practised ease by the strange man to dangle her upside down. She was strung up at just the right height so that Anna was face to face with her. Slowly Anna stepped around the woman, investigating how she was strung up by something that looked so weak. If there was anything to be learned by this it was to never underestimate the power of something small. "Share?" Out of all the words this man spoke that was the one Anna picked up all too quickly. That original prickling of possessiveness ruffled her demeanor. "She's mine. You got in the way..." In other words, Anna had no plans of sharing her prize with this one. A small growl rumbled in her as she stood there beside the dangling woman glaring at the man.
