South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She was curious of other Weres just as she was from the very beginning of finding out what she was. She wanted to know what he did when he shifted, how he spent his nights or days. She wanted to know how he decided when to be animal and when to be human. She had no idea that he didn't know yet that he was a Were. She figured every Were would know what they were, that she was the only one that was ignorant of her true nature. After all, he was human when she met him so surely he just chose that over his animal side, right? He actually laughed when she said that she loved the skin but she didn't get offended. He seemed to be in good spirits so she took it as a good thing and left it at that. She shook her head at him when he said that he'd never had anything with skin on it, her lips grimacing in disapproval.

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING."

She felt he needed to know that. Perhaps she could talk him into it sometime. But then she frowned.

"WAIT...ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU'VE NEVER HUNTED BEFORE IN YOUR OTHER FORM? OR DO YOU STOP TO SKIN EVERYTHING YOU HUNT?"

Now THIS was something she had to remedy if that was the case cause to her, nothing beat taking down a kill as an animal. The adrenaline rush was just out of this world. She loved it. She had no idea the can of worms she was about to open with that question. He told her that he could show her how to make a sandwich and his boyfriend could show her how to make other stuff. She tilted her head in question again. He would have to get used to this soon enough.

"IS A CHEF SOMEONE WHO COOKS OR SOMETHING? THAT'S COOL. WHAT DOES COOKING ENTAIL? DO I HAVE TO BUTCHER SOMETHING OR..SOMETHING?"

She was just so lost on all this human stuff. It was all so confusing. Her brows were furrowed in puzzlement. He let her have the beer bottle and she heard him laugh as the liquid ran down her throat. He sighed when the bottle fell and she thought for a minute that he might be mad but he seemed pretty patient with her over the whole thing. He told her that she would get used to it and she scowled and shook her head.

"I DON'T THINK THAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN."

She watched curiously as he walked off again to return with some weird instruments. One of them she recognized as a weapon humans had use to run her off before, swinging it at her, handle first, and trying to hit her with the bristles and she growled instinctively, her lips curling as she backed away from him. But once she saw what he was doing, she calmed herself down and started to watch. What was he doing? Somehow the glass was disappearing into the pan thing and then he went to throw it away in a can and it disappeared completely. Her brows raised, clearly impressed. He came back with a rag and put it on the floor. She was about to ask what it did but then she watched him pick it up and the beer was no longer there. She gasped and grabbed for the rag, sniffing it and wrinkling her nose.

"HOW CAN SOMETHING SO MAGICAL SMELL SO BAD?"

She handed the rag back to him, eager to get it away from her senstive nose. She asked to wash off and he told her he would show her to something called a bathroom. It sounded legit so she shrugged and nodded. She followed him and stopped in the doorway, watching him grab a bigger version of the rag and then turn a knob and suddenly water was filling the basin. Her eyes were wide as saucers.

"HOW DOES IT DO THAT?"

She whispered in awe from behind him. She moved forward without thinking, reaching over to put her hand beneath the stream. It smelled and felt like water. She licked the back of her hand. It tasted like water, albeit with a more bitter taste than the streams she was used to drinking from. She turned back to him when he told her to take her clothes off. Shrugging, she did as he said, slipping the t-shirt back over her head and standing patiently by him as he told her where to get something called soap and shampoo. She nodded though she had no idea what he was talking about. When he walked out, she took her time getting into the tub. She had to ease into it, testing one foot and then the other. When everything seemed okay, she slowly lowered herself into the water. It felt nice. In fact, it felt heavenly. She sighed in contentment and closed her eyes, letting herself go completely under to wet her hair and face. Resurfacing, she smiled and rubbed her arms and legs, still trying to adjust to this new human body she seemed to have. Who would have thought she'd be so lean and, well, pretty, as a human? She thought she was quite pretty anyway.

Maybe she would ask Henry about it when she got out. Her ran her fingers through her hair and scowled in pain when she hit the tangles. Ow! She tried to pull them out but it only hurt more so she groaned and looked around. There was that stuff he was talking about earlier. She wasn't sure where to use the bar of soap so she tossed it in the water, watching the suds appear. Maybe that's what it does. Shrugging, she reached for the shampoo bottle next and started pouring it into the water then rubbing the water over her arms and legs. It felt nice. How much do you use? She wasn't sure but she did want to smell better so she kept pouring it until no more would come out. That should be enough, right? Meanwhile, the bar of soap continued to dissolve at the bottom of the tub. When she heard the soft knock on the door, she looked up, smiling at Henry when he came in with some clothes. Those would be fun to figure out. She held out her arms.

"I THINK I DID IT RIGHT. DO I SMELL BETTER?"
