South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

Those haughty words that left the young woman's lips caused the were King's eyebrows to raise ever so slightly. "I wasn't sneaking." He stated simply enough. And truly, Tetradore hadn't meant to creep up on her in the fashion that he had. She had been otherwise distracted and he, well, he had been inquisitive enough to pause and watch. After all, it wasn't every day he saw someone engulfed in flames and capable of walking out of it with naught a single mark upon their skin. She seemed willingly enough to forgive him of that though, as not but moments later there was almost a girlish excitement within her voice, one he almost found....endearing. He watched the simper that grew upon her features at his rather lacking description of what she'd managed to craft, even if it had been without her control and intent. Those words of praise, however, seemed to chase away any previous hint of glee that marred her features as she turned to regard him with a growing frown. Finicky thing, wasn't she? His eyebrow rose ever so slightly and yet, the man hardly shied away from this intense inspection. Instead, his emerald eyes merely met her own with an intense stare, even if he had already recognized her from nearly a year prior. It wasn't often other species stepped into the Ark, much less with the desire to fight.

That insistence that he had saved her life certainly served to get beneath her skin and yet, Tetradore merely watched with mute indifference as her fingers dug into her arms in a clear show of her distaste for those simple facts. He listened at those words she sneered at him and yet, he could hardly help that small twitch of amusement in the corner of his lips. "That's cute." He responded quite flatly at the end her triade and yet, he scarcely believed the girl in the slightest. The creatures that won in his ring were apex predators by nature - lions, tigers, bears, crocodiles. Even in the lower tiers it was the snakes and wolves and badgers that came out on top. Bare hands would have done nothing against those fangs, beaks and claws. Bare hands would not stop a several hundred pound predator from ripping off her pretty little face. She might have been dangerous with her weapons and fire tricks but, the witch was ultimately mortal. She might succeed against human skin but they were something else entirely.

It was that mention of Samantha, however, the drew his attention and, indeed the conversation. It was only natural that he hoped the young woman hadn't vanished from the world entirely and yet, it seemed she hardly wanted anything to do with the life she had crafted here. She'd left them all behind and Tetradore knew well that he was half at fault for it. It was that very thing that lingered upon his mind, and indeed his previous transgressions that caused a small frown to tug upon his features when she inquired what was so special about him to prompt him to be given a second chance at life. It was a curious question really, and one he had pondered many a nights though, in truth, he had no solid answer. By all means, he was certainly not the kind of soul who deserved anything of what he had. He'd been a monster who'd stalked the shadows, he'd murdered without regard, harmed with a cruel indifference and now...he had all of this? Still, the young woman's muttered words were enough to draw him from his own melancholy, the man's wrist flicked in an effort to chase away both her comment and his own thoughts. "It doesn't matter." He stated simply, continuing on with blatant disregard. "What matters is that it seems Samantha is gone...you'd be surprised how many of my relationships end up like that." A small shrug crossed Tetradore's shoulders and yet, really, what was there to be done of it?
