South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

There was little doubt that Tetradore was particularly enjoying the view he was afforded. In truth, he supposed he should have been desensitized to those urges human skin so brought, if only for the simple fact that his species so often demanded that clothes were forsaken lest they were ripped to shreds in that inhuman shift. However, despite what he should have felt, there was no reason to deny that some of those urges still existed within the man, nor that he found it entirely acceptable to appreciate the beauty in even what should have been the norm. Besides, she was, indeed, beautiful, in her own wild way, even with her foot caught in metal and the hiss of sizzling silver on her flesh. The were-creature's silent observation, however, was interrupted at the sound of her mortal vocal cords and yet, Tetradore found himself merely shrugging in response. She was hardly wrong, after all, the Hunters certainly had a foothold here that they did not in other places and yet - the battles between the supernaturals were deadly enough without bringing the entirety of that Hunter Council down upon them in a territory that was not his own.

Instead, the feline merely focused upon obliterating those screws that held together that trap, his emerald eyes simply glancing at those wiggling fingers. It was better this way, he was sure, after all, this way, those pristine little digits of hers weren't too subject to the harsh burns of that silver. A soft snort left the feline's nose as he turned his back towards her, instead moving several paces away before setting in an entirely expectant fashion against the snow. His lips parted at those words of thanks, merely offering the woman an almost innocent sounding meoowww before those emerald eyes simply blinked in her direction. It was inquisitive, he supposed, that the fierce were King was now appearing more akin to a house cat than anything else and yet, what harm was there in her underestimating him? At least for now. His head tilted inquisitively to the side as she regarded that wound upon her ankle, the imprint of those metal teeth certainly looked...uncomfortable, even he could admit that and yet, not a word left his lips in those moments of silence.

It was only that intense inspection of the girl that made the feline even aware of that tremor that momentarily passed through her. That shock was going to be setting in soon. That were ability was still going to take it's time to heal something like that, even he knew this. Hm...this could be beneficial. He watched as she shifted across that snow, his own body could hardly suppress that shudder at the simple thought of that coldness she must be feeling. After all, Tetradore was hardly made for the cold, even despite being a were, his Jungle Cat was made for the humidity of Jungles and that hispanic blood that ran through his veins surely contributed to his preference for heat rather than the cold that never graced his heritage's homelands. Even if he wasn't born within that country. In short, Tetradore hated the cold. His emerald eyes met that amber gaze of hers and yet, the creature hardly responded immediately, almost as if he was considering this proposal of catnip. Tobias had certainly found an obsession with the stuff, and, in truth, Tetradore had been known to perhaps enjoy it's effects upon his feline self when he was left to his own devices...though it wasn't a bad offer, it wasn't quite what he desired either.

Instead, Tetradore rose to all four paws, stepping forward towards her as he allowed that shift to so overcome him, that short ebony fur giving way to caramel skin before the man stood in front of her, crouching only to get a better look at her wound. "I think, I'll save that favor." Those rich baritone lyrics stated simply enough. His gaze trailed away from her, eying their surroundings before glancing back at the girl. "You need a place to rest while that heals...and it's cold out here." He stated simply enough, that last part perhaps revealing more of his own preferences then anything that might truly have affected her. His elbow leaned against his knee, his cheek resting against his palm in a nearly bored fashion before he continued, his voice instead more contemplative. "I suppose there's a good chance you might pass out soon, maybe even from the transformation. And where would that leave my conscious?" Well, certainly not as full of guilt as he made it out to be, that was for sure. He rose slowly, a singular hand held out to her only to offer the girl a choice that was ultimately hers. "Well, come on, let's make sure you at least survive the night." Though taking her back to the Ark was...impossible, there were always other places he owned that might be more...suitable for her then simply sitting out in the snow.
