South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

Finding her Alpha's ghost wouldn't necessarily make her happy. What could she do with a ghost? A ghost wouldn't keep them safe from harm. A ghost wouldn't be the ideal thing for their pack. It wouldn't be good if they were conversing with a figure that could be visible or invisible, surely the other Weres would think there was something wrong with them. Already others viewed Tobias at being odd. She wished there was some way for Serafina to bring Tetradore back from the dead, if only she had that capability. A miserable sigh was released as she shrugged her shoulders helplessly at her retort. Happiness. It felt wrong to have happiness right now. Not with the way things have been lately. Struggling to keep herself from slipping off the ice, her arms remained sticking out as she attempted to maintain her balance. Casually she turned her dial taking note of the woman that was standing along the edge of the frozen lake. With the cold wind blowing, it carried the other's witch's scent, confirming for the lupine that she did indeed know this one. The childish remarked seemed to encourage her trusted companion to retort in a similar fashion. Rolling her eyes, she sighed softly, in disbelief that this was how Serafina wanted to act like.

"I expect that comment from my mate, not necessarily from my closest friend."

Raven was rather impressed that Serafina was capable of doing something like this! She never met anyone that was capable of changing a lake to becoming frozen. It was rather fascinating. For a moment she moved her right foot over the ice, impressed to feel the thickness of it and not hear the ice crack underneath her. The lupine trusted the woman completely. If she felt that this was safe then she would believe her. After all Serafina never steered her in the wrong direction, and she understood the woman was attempting to do something kind for her. Deep down she did feel rather guilty for ignoring the raven-haired woman. She didn't mean to. Truly she didn't. However, with Tetradore's death, Tobias moroseness, the business needing to be tended to, and the Ark needing to keep afloat, the lupine was running ragged. Hearing the white-haired woman speak her name, she stared at her for a moment remembering just who she was. With a nod she spoke up a bit, her tone holding a neutral and yet genuine note.

"Yes, I remember you too. You were the witch, Vhalla. You thought you could fight against Weres within the ring. We stopped you from your early death."

The Ark was a refuge for her kind. Even though the West side and the Ark were claimed by her pack, the rings were considered a place where all could come together on an equal footing. It was a place where predator and prey could come together and fight amongst each other, letting that wilder side of themselves set loose and free. It was a relief for them. For such a quiet and docile woman even she felt the need to feel that primal release. She could recall the thrill of the fight, remembering what it was like to stand within the middle of the ring, feeling victorious. It had been awhile since she had felt that release. To think that the witch felt she needed to join in on their spot was a violation, not just by the rules of the Ark and ring...but a violation against her kind. This area was their space and no other species was welcomed to intervene. Besides, she didn't want to see the witch die.

The invitation to join the other witch along the banks of the frozen lake was met with a shake of her head. She was here for Serafina and so she would stay. Seeing that mischievous wink come from her companion caused her dial to tilt to the side, one eyebrow raised in a curious manner. She was up to something. Raven knew it and she had no idea what it was. Obediently she managed to shuffle her way towards the witch, steadying herself as best as she could, while she allowed the woman to place the ice blades at the bottom of her shoes. A small smile appeared when she realized how much easier it was to keep herself up, now with the blades on her shoes. It was the witch's comment about not assisting them should something go wrong that caused a disappointed frown to appear on her mauled face. Maybe it was because she wasn't willing to help should something bad happen, or maybe it was because Raven believed they would be fine. Whatever the reason she nonchalantly uttered a sincere retort.

"We do not need you. We're familiars...we can keep each other safe."

Raven trusted Serafina, and in return, she hoped Serafina trusted her. She was bound to ensure that the woman would be safe. Her attention went back to Serafina as she heard the woman utter an order. Blue-grey eyes narrowed at the word 'fetch' not really liking the word. Without a thought she looked over to the ivory haired woman, and without any motion, the witch would feel herself lifting upwards and away from the ground. Slowly she pulled the woman towards them, her eyes remained locked upon the woman, as she kept control, not wanting to drop the woman. Eventually Vhalla would slowly be landed back down upon the ice in front of them, her hand would stretch out as a timid smile appeared. As soon as the witch's feet landed on the ice Raven's telekinesis would stop, assured the witch would be fine now. Quickly her eyes shifted to Serafina, expecting some sort of praise for taking the witch against her will for Serafina's fun.

"It's okay, just hold my hand and stay upright."
