South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

He is not entirely sure who he blames for this utter lack of game tonight, the local hunting club, or just Were's in general, his catch for the night little more than two fairly mediocre rabbits, the stench of cat and the scattering of wolf and tiger paws leading the blonde to believe that someone had been here before him, his own dinner for the night far less exciting then he'd like. He hardly had to hunt for his food, the local supermarket worked just as well and yet, on occasion he simply chose to return to simpler ways, to the way things were done back when the world made sense, when he wasn't this thing and when he didn't loath every second person he met. He knelt easily, black denim jeans near invisible in the coming darkness as he removed the arrow from his second rabbit, wrenching it easily from the already cooling body before proceeding to wipe the arrow head and return it to the quiver behind him. He'd only lost one arrow tonight, that in the least was something to be mildly pleased about. Only one to replace, so many of his weapons made entirely by hand. After all, why waste the skills he'd had as a human when they were just as useful now? He muttered almost irritably to himself, moving now to unstring the bow, sliding it back over one shoulder haphazardly, reaching for his saxe knife. Might as well skin it now, save him the trouble of doing it later, hands working with practised ease. He hardly feared being alone, held no true belief anything would seek to hunt him, his very presence sending the vast majority of the supernatural population running rapidly in the opposite direction. The thought saw a smirk of sorts trace his lips in the darkness as he continued to work, removing fur and jointing bone, blonde hair falling into the gold of his eyes when a very distinct sense saw each nerve spark. So many years spent in this life having allowed the seemingly young man to easily determine once sensation from another and this one spoke readily of Were.

"Fuck."

Did moments of peace simply not exist? Could he do nothing without these disgusting creatures invading his space? It was probably after the rabbit. The knife rolled easily in his hands, returned to the sheath at his side as he moved to snatch up his own dinner, adding it to his previously caught rabbit, moving to string them both up in the nearest tree for safe keeping before moving rapidly in the direction he is assured that thing is going. He has not time for Were's, may have even been willing to almost ignore an early rising vampire or curious warlock, but a Were is another matter entirely, vile, foul, ridiculous creatures. They had no place existing, no right to breed let alone pass their curse onto others and destroy the lives of innocents. Then again, half the human population wasn't worth fucking saving either and truly he is becoming sick of playing guardian angel for the human race. Vapid creatures that they are. Maybe he's just getting old, hell, any eighty year old is bound to be a little grumpy aren't they? Surely he's entitled.

Golden eyes fall readily onto the women as she wanders through the park, dark brunette hair seeming all the darker still in the growing shadows of the coming twilight as she walks, apparently oblivious to any danger- though for how long it will take her senses to become aware of him he hardly knows. For a moment he simply watches, arms folding against his chest, the hunter lacking his usual sleeveless hoody tonight, dressed simply in a dark blue shirt and jeans, wealth of white gold hair clear even within the shadows as his equally golden eyes continue to linger upon the woman. What sort of Were she is he hardly knows, his ability unable to extend any further than merely labelling her species and yet he supposes it hardly matters, none of them deserve to be alive. Eyes narrow momentarily as he wanders forward, moving to walk until he trails behind the woman, hand reaching up to grasp his bow once more. His own power activates within those moments, a phenomenal burst of speed released as he comes from behind in a sudden rush, a rather swift kick aimed at the vulnerable backs of her knees, seeking to kick her legs out from beneath her and send her slamming into the ground as he seems to materialize in front of her now, crooked simper of sorts touching his features.

"Seriously, please don't run, I'm tired and you creatures have this ridiculous need to change and flee and honestly right now that is only going to piss me off. So lets make a deal, you stay there and stay still and I'll make this really fast, alright?"

His words seem to hold an almost humorous quality, as if the handsome blonde finds something amusing in this entire ordeal, golden eyes briefly meeting her own, one eye lifting mockingly as he moves to restring his bow, pulling the heavy draw upward to lock it into place, clearly caring little to hide the weapon from her- content to prepare the object of her demise right before her, reaching around to grab an already bloodied arrow from behind him. Hopefully this will be a rather easy kill, her death simply another to add to his ever-growing tally, notching the silver tipped arrow, lifting it up to easily take aim and finish this here and now....
