South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

He was relieved when they moved the conversation past Sam and her leaving. He would always care about her and maybe sometimes there would be that thought of what could have been but apparently it wasn't supposed to happen that way so instead he moved on and found Amelia. He would never regret that. He wanted to know what all was going on with Dorian though. Was he still living in the house him and Sam had shared? Was he still with that special someone he had hinted at when last they spoke? He seemed so surprised that Troy was going to be a dad. It was true that it was rare for fae to have children so he probably assumed it was either a human or fairy that he'd gotten pregnant. He knew it would come as a shock when he told what Amelia was. It wasn't too much of a secret once someone mentioned vampired how he felt about them. He was sure Dorian must have picked up on it. He also seemed to surprise the other fairy when he said that he wasn't married. He could pick up on a hint of judgement in his gaze but he chose not to bring it up. He didn't want to argue with the guy, after all.

It wasn't like he had planned this! And he didn't want Amelia to feel pressured into marrying him just because of her "condition." No, he wanted it to be for the right reasons. He would ask her when the time was right and when she knew he was doing it because he loved her, not because he got her pregnant. Dorian showed his surprise when he repeated what she was. Troy gave a heavy sigh and nodded, knowing just how surprising it had to be to hear that he was going to be a father and it was with a vampire.

"Yeah, I know, it's crazy in all respects. I never meant for it to happen. I met her in a bar then I saved her from a hunter. I don't even know why I did it. It just felt like the right thing to do at the time. Then somehow we became friends and....well, things went from there. It started off as just a friends with benefits kind of thing and then it became something more. And now look at us. We're gonna be parents!"

He couldn't hide his excitement at the prospect. He knew what all must be going on in Dorian's head right now. Everyone knew a vampire was a human that had died and reanimated but they were never truly alive again. So it was scientifically impossible for her to carry a live child to term. He didn't know anything about the unborn child in question, all he knew was that it existed and was coming soon. He tried to explain what he could but it looked like it was only creating more questions for Dorian. He said that it was astounding, unbelievable, even hinting that maybe it was something to do with Troy. He shrugged.

"Believe me, I know how crazy it sounds. I don't know who's to blame but I'm okay with it. I just can't wait to see what he or she looks like."

He could almost see the wheels in Dorian's head turning while he looked at him. He must have so many questions. He laughed when Dorian said that he must be quite skilled.

"You don't know the half of it."

He said with a playful wink. Of course when he mentioned how soon the baby was coming, Dorian got that look of puzzlement again. Yeah, that was throwing Troy off again. At his question, he scowled thoughtfully and shrugged.

"Not that they've said so far. Only that it's alive and growing at a fast pace. I don't think I'll know anything till it's born. I've had the same questions. I have no experience with this kind of thing."

It then hit him that they'd spent a lot of time talking about him and his relationship but he hadn't had a chance to ask about Dorian's life. He cleared his throat and eyed him.

"Speaking of experiences....how are you and your special someone going? Still magic in the air? Any wedding plans? I got from your hints before that he was supernatural but you never even told me what kind of supernatural. Come on, I've told you about me."

He said with a smirk.
