South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The Monarch smiled softly at the image of Sebastian and himself so well-dressed in those suits within his own palace in Naples before handing his phone to his curly haired companion to view the picture herself. He had not, perhaps, truly anticipated that the photograph he handed Raven in those moments might prompt such a reaction from the woman. Her face near instantly paling, so assuring Dorian, even without words, that it would seem yet another woman he had befriended had already met his lover. The Fae King so sighing softly in preparation, perhaps, for an outburst akin to Samantha's own and yet in a true testament to the manner of the woman before him it would seem Raven was hardly the type inclined to such emotional moments. Dorian allowing his silver gaze to be drawn upwards once more, the man frowning slightly at the realisation the girl was near shaking from fear that he might somehow be cross with her. Goodness, but surely it wasn't all that bad! Dorian so having failed to anticipate the depth of Ravens concern in this that she might somehow be the cause of any distress upon himself or indeed, any disharmony between himself and his lover in turn. A surely impossible thing on any level and yet Dorian so remained silent if only to allow the girl to find those words she struggled to offer. An uncomfortable sensation settling within his stomach the longer that silence stretched, Ravens hands beginning to twist about in a gesture that seemed almost nervous and perhaps did little to settle Dorian in turn even if the man- at least outwardly- remained wholly calm. His expression one of polite intrigue despite his newfound concern as he so gestured for the woman to continue. Her words a mumble of rushed discord.

That tale she wove in those moments saw his own head tilt but slightly, his features frowning softly in a contemplation of those words. This notion that she so held little idea of what she had been doing was perhaps not surprising. Dorian aware on some level of how...eclipsing Sebastian could be in those moments and yet after all this time even Dorian still remained unaware of the truth of Sebastian's skill in manipulating those desires. Even so, the Fae King found himself near relieved to hear that, while perhaps daunting and confusing to his companion, her experience with his lover was not near so dramatic as it seemed Samantha's or even Vhalla's had been. It was displeasing in some sense, to have his friend so seemingly distressed over that incident and yet it was in some way- vastly preferred to the outright terror that seemed to have gripped Samantha. Raven, for her part, seeming far more fearful of his own reaction then that incident. The girl so apparently terrified that she might be the reason for any argument between himself and his boyfriend. Dorian rather assured such an incident may well have even occurred before Sebastian and himself had declared any official status to their own partnership. What was entirely intriguing to that tale in turn was this idea that Sebastian had apparently stopped before, Dorian so presumed, he had gotten a chance to take that meal. How curious this was. That ever curious Fae inclined to consider this for several long moments. Perhaps the vampire had sensed her distress? Sebastian so rarely ever seeming inclined to terrify people and yet this idea that her mate was displeased perhaps prompted yet another thought to emerge within the Monarch's mind. Had Sebastian stopped because she had a mate? It hardly mattered now, he supposed.

These were questions, he knew, that were unlikely to ever find true answers and as such the man was content to merely push them aside for now. Dorian so returning his attention to Raven in full, one hand reached forward to rest suddenly atop her own as that entirely gentle smile found his lips, his features softening as he regarded her now. Dorian so loath to see the woman in such a state of worry over a matter that, truly, the Monarch believed was surely not worth this level of concern- especially so considering he was rather sure she was far more worried about the effect of her words as opposed to that original meeting with Sebastian at all!

"Raven, darling. Please don't upset yourself so over this, I am not in the least bit cross with you- or my boyfriend for that matter. I shan't go home to yell at him don't worry."

That simper tugged at his lips once more. After all, Raven was surely simply attempting to be the very definition of a good friend, she could hardly be faulted for that. Dorian too, for his part, simply uninclined to be angry. Such an emotion rarely tainting the Fae man in any sense as he further considered his own words and how best to explain that situation to his companion. The silver of his gaze lifting at last to the blue of her own.

"It is the manner in which Sebastian....hunts, I suppose you might say. He seeks to encourage others to give him blood more willingly then they might otherwise be. His method of persuasion is more inclined to affection. I suspect you may have met him before he and I had become anything official and yet I am aware of how he hunts."

Dorian paused then, allowing Raven to so process those words of explanation. Dorian- in a testament to his position in life, perhaps presenting an entirely diplomatic explanation of the method in which his lover obtained his meals, so assuring Raven that he was wholly aware of what the man did in turn. It was perhaps not entirely ideal to think of his lover giving or receiving affection to anyone save himself and yet it was so vastly preferable to out rightly attacking people as some vampires did. Dorian so having made his peace with the idea several months ago. His love for his boyfriend entirely encompassing. Dorian wholly content in their relationship and its stability. After all, Sebastian did what he did in an effort to gain a meal. Such gestures so meaningless and empty, a means to an end in comparison to that genuine love he shared with the vampire.

"It is far preferable, I think, to his lurking in an alleyway and so lunging at people. I am sorry though, if you or your mate were given to be upset. Please do not worry yourself though Raven, all is entirely well."
