South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

There was something freeing to those nights when the moon was swollen above the trees and within the sky. Frost hardly willing to admit the pleasure he took in that simplistic shift beneath it's glow. The man so rarely inclined to allow that animalistic part of himself to take over in any sense and yet there were moments when he near craved to shift from his human skin. He loathed that need to run in some sense. In giving in to those equine desires and yet for all he loathed it he so seemed to relish in that freedom in turn and the simple call of those open fields. He was faster like this. Faster and far more powerful. The world was more vivid, clearer, he could near smell the richness of the soil and the chill within the air that nipped at his snowy pelt, that light breeze carrying with it every sound that made the earth feel more alive. How he loved it and loathed it all at once. Those complex emotions ignored for this night alone. The full moon was an excuse, surely, to simply exist even if for only one night. To indulge more readily in those animalistic instincts, he often cast aside in his ever-present determination to control what existed around him- but not tonight. Frost content to find some release for that sheer build-up of energy.

He had left that house well before the others, merely allowing them that knowledge of where he would be if they chose to come. With Scarlett and Claire away the stallion was content to allow the rest of that pack to gather if they chose else enjoy the night alone if they preferred, the man hardly forceful when it came to those arrangements. His only insistence so being that the pack ate together several times a week at his own table. After all, his pack so consisted entirely of predatory animals. Predators bonded over food, the man so playing upon those inner instincts to assure that undercurrent of unity within his pack all the same, those weekly meals, too, assuring they gathered within one place for any news he might need be made aware of or they in turn. The past few weeks having proven nothing but peaceful. A fact the stallion found himself glad off if only for the break it afforded him and the time it provided to organise his other affairs outside the care for those whom resided beneath his command.

He had headed out to those far forests first, that shift over taking his form with force- as if that equine side of himself felt jilted for the lack of attention it had received and yet how quickly he embraced it once his hooves had shifted into that loping trot, quickening to canter and at last to gallop over those flatter, open spaces. The stallion entirely content to stretch his limbs in full, to press his form to its limit within this moments if only for the sheer and utter joy of running. An emotion he rarely cared to feel and yet one he simply could not hold back on some occasions. His hooves cut divots out of the earth from the sheer force of them. The war horse content to circle those forests several times over before at last heading for that clearing, his feathered hooves stained with that mud, that sweat drying on his flanks and neck and yet truly in the wake of that run the man found himself almost sated- his ears pricked forward at that cry of Nadya upon the air, assuring him she had arrived in the least. The wind carrying the scent of her and her children. This the first time the pack at large might meet that young family he had acquired if any of them so chose to arrive tonight in turn.

His own pace slowed to a walk, that thunderous sound of heavy hooves settled to a dull plod as he wandered from the trees, his white hide near aglow in that moonlight, his lengthy mane and tail trailing behind him in that breeze before his violet gaze fixated upon Nadya and her cubs. They were....larger then he remembered them being and yet he paid it now heed, that low sound rising within his own throat to release that rumbling call at his own presence before he strode towards them. The stallion towering above that small family before his head simply lowered, bumping his muzzle to the panthers own in that decidedly equine gesture, huffing that warm air over her son before his gaze widened. A snort erupting from within him, one hind leg suddenly lifting and yet he simply....held it, poised, head turning to angle back and eye the female kitten whom had taken it upon herself to become entangled in his near floor length and thickened tail. That giant hoof readily lowered. A taint of amusement touching those words.

Oh Naja.....I believe your daughter has discovered my tail. I also believe she is ripping the hair out as she climbs up......
