South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

As always the element of surprise was far more preferable than simply charging in. She would have preferred that method and yet it simply would not do. He wanted her to open the door without making a sound. It simply wasn't possible. Heavy metallic doors equaled squeaky annoying hinges. With Azrael's choice of attack a failure she provided her shadows as a way to make up for it. With the shadows swarming around them and providing them cover she waited patiently as he lifted his hand. A soft growl rumbled as she stood within the dark shadows, blue-grey eyes scanning the area carefully. As soon as he motioned for them to attack, she leapt forward ready to go. With a flicker of light her dial swung around to see what was causing it, eyes widened slightly in surprise at the ball of light. Slowly she extended her dial to sniff at it, curious even in this serious manner, the lupine quickly shaking her head in an annoyed manner, as her ears fell back in an apologetic manner. While the doors flew open by her invisible hand, one figure made his hurried approach, and she watched in awe how the ball of light was thrown, clouding into the man and exploding at the same moment. Seeing the ice scattered about, her ears twitched forward in interest, pleased to see this was Sera's work, but also at the same time concerned.

While the men began to appear out of the shadows with weapons in hand at the ready, the lupine stood beside the Dark Hunter, watching as their opponents surrounded them. When Azrael made the order, she gave him a side glance, as if he was indeed giving her the green light to...terminate them. Seeing no hesitation or falter in his voice she charged forward bearing her teeth as she grasped onto her first victim, closing her jaw tightly as her sharp teeth sunk into his fragile form. Releasing him, he dropped to the ground with a heavy thud, as she charged and pounced upon another. The very idea that one of these men might have harmed her witch angered her entirely. There was no remorse as she attacked them, no hesitation or thought that she was purposefully and willing to kill or maim another. It was the sharp sounding whistle that caused the wolf to actually stop what she was doing and look at the scenery around her. Turning around she noticed Azrael pointing upwards at the man that was somehow in the air, easily the girl grab ahold of him, purposefully tossing him into one wall and then the other, as the sickening sound of his body smashing into the metal walls, treating him like rag doll. Throwing him into a stack of crates she turned around bearing her teeth at a group of men that shuddered and fell back.

Unknown that an attacker was coming up behind her, she saw pieces of ice shatter on the ground. Puzzled she whirled her head around to discover one man on the ground with pieces of ice scattered about him. Turning around she saw Azrael standing there with his flaming sword, and for a moment her tail waved side to side eagerly. Quickly she made her way over towards the ice that hid the witch. Yet before she could offer any assistance to help get her out she noticed something out of the corner of her eye moving. Looking up she saw the fae imploring his lackeys to continue their assault. With a sharp bark to get Azrael's attention, she gestured with her head towards the fae, hoping that perhaps he might offer some sort of assistance on this one. Black lips pulled back to reveal her bloodstained teeth as she attempted to attack the other men hoping to give Azrael a clear shot at taking the fae down without anyone to support him.
