South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

We were chasing the thunder inside the storm;

The panther seems to roll her eyes at her comment, biting back with sarcasm as the words which lash out at her. She scoffs out a laugh, which sounded odd coming from the obsidian wolf. She is content at how well her wound has healed from that damn trap, that silvery band it left behind on her hind leg was its only reminder except it still felt a little stiff in the morning. Her short time in Sacrosanct was certainly not uneventful but it was a place the loner could call home. If only she could let down that barricade within her to truly accept that.

Alas, Mira sighs, surely this woman was wound up way too uptight for her own good. "Your loss, enjoy your bite-sized bacon strip." She shook that large wolfish head of hers slowly from side to side. All too ready to slip back into the shadowy, welcoming forest in which she had come from, hunting alone than with this loud supposedly stealthy killer would have probably proven more challenging.

But then an unexpected occurrence happened and the panther stirred reluctantly rising onto her paws. She took her kill to a tree in which she climbed with ease and precision to stash her prey. It was impressive, the sheer power in those muscles within her petite body. Even she had to admit that, knowing her body wasn't equipped to scale trees in a simple leap and a bound. Someone was a little caught up in paranoia, although she couldn't exactly blame her, the world was full of creeps.

Regardless of what this woman had planned, Mira was never one to simply run away from a threat, it was her nature. She was braver than she had to be, honed her skills to protect herself. Those golden eyes peer at the dark feline within the tree, she looked like a shadow up there. "I only eat what I catch. All of this is a little overkill." She wondered if maybe she just didn't listen to her the first time after all the words reached her mind loud and clear.

Felines were interesting to her, at least those few she had met, they had a unique disposition she finds rather amusing. Why were they always so wound up so tight and irritated like someone stepped on their tail with a stiletto? She wonders if that moody disposition was simply a trait of theirs.

Mira had taken down larger prey before, had her share and not a day later the carcass would be completely gone. There were many creatures within the forest that would surely benefit from someone else's leftovers. Nature had an interesting way of cleaning up what was not man-made. Her ears flicked as if by habit as the feline's voice entered her mind. "Who said my catch will not be used? Whatever I do not eat will be absorbed within the forest, scavengers need a meal too. Besides, I have been cooped up for too damn long, I crave a challenge from time to time." That couldn't be any truer. This individual had no idea the hell she had gone through, nor would she be likely to.

There was nothing wrong with feeding her appetite for something more. After all, that animal instinct needed to be fed, how often do were-animals ignore that baser side longer than they should? She stretches, paws out, hips in the air in a rather casual way allowing her nails to dig into submissive ground growing restless just standing around. She felt her spine crack almost deliciously before returning to her standing position but does not encroach within that clearing. She sure as hell wasn't afraid but she wasn't senseless either. Her amber eyes peer upwards to that cat up in the tree as her acute gaze remains unwavering despite the amusement that flickered behind them.
