South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Mira wouldn't understand a functioning pack if it hit her in the face. For the mere fact that she has never seen one before, how could she notice one? She was born in disarray, all she knew was chaos. Perhaps Tetradore's pack was the closest thing she would ever find to that. Yet she can't help the apprehensive feeling, that feeling of unrest. She couldn't bring her problems to them, they didn't deserve her baggage. It was better to be a lone wolf, wasn't it? Sure it made her far more vulnerable and with a price on her head she needed to have her wits about her.

It was odd how Raven reacted to her, how she was apprehensive of the she-wolf even now. Raven flattened her ears and seemed tense like Mira might actually attack and go for her. It reminded her of after when the oddly patterned wolf shifted out of her feral form, she seemed vulnerable and fearful of the world around her and even of the woman who had fought by her side. Even though Mira's words are kind and her attitude is made up of curiousity of the other she-wolf's recovery if anything at all. It was not her usual way of approaching another wolf, either. Often times she would need to come off severely dominant until the other one submitted but Raven seemed far too fragile in a way to handle that kind of dominance. It was a strange sensation to act like she was dealing with someone who could break. You were strong or you died, at least Raven knew kindness and was accepted into a pack who welcomed her. There was no such thing a submissive creature in her past pack, they were the first to be picked off. It was a very dangerous place for someone like Raven, with a kind soul. She was a whole different kind of wolf that Mira did not exactly know how to be around her. Her own experience with wolves had been limited, much like Raven's had been.

The gentle voice from Raven filtered within her mind and the shadowy wolf nearly flopped over into the soft decay of foliage upon the ground right next to the other wolf. Yet she didn't though, she had far more control than that especially around another wolf that was so jumpy. It was crazy how much could happen in such a short period of time. How volatile it had all felt. She didn't even feel like the same person anymore. But at least she was free. That was her end game, to maintain that freedom at all costs. That sweet taste she would not allow to simply be taken from her, not while she still held life within her veins.

She could see the other woman was on edge, the twitching movements and the wary way she watched her with those judgemental eyes. Was it her? Was it the mere fact that they took down a hunter without a flash of remorse? Or was it simply Mira presence that put her on edge. The inky black wolf sat down upon her haunches in attempts to appear less menacing.

Now, how to ask Raven's simple and yet complicated question. "Well.. I had a run in Frost, found out there was a price on my head from my old pack and Frost took it.. For some reason that he and him were business partners. Oh and I can turn into... lava. I found all this out in a span of a day. So you know, life stuff." That nonchalance was filled with sardonic humour. How else can you make sense of such madness? But the important thing was that she was still here, still breathing. That had to count for something, right? Why she chose to be so honest with the other wolf, she didn't really know. Maybe it was that kindness that she was such a sucker for.

"What about you? Hopefully avoiding those dark hunters." Those golden eyes remain thoughtful. She suddenly shook out her fur as if ridding herself of the thought of the dark hunters declaring war upon all supernaturals.

"Did anyone ever tell you that you act like a cat?" She flicked her tail back and forth in amusement. "Speaking of which, where's Tobi?" The leopard seemed very possessive of his Raven, she was surprised he was not attached at her hip and followed her here within these woods. The place in which she realised was a lot smaller than she even realised. Somehow she managed to meet Tetradore's sister and had a run in with Frost shortly afterwards. Surely it was just bad timing rather than the forest being too damn small? She still hadn't discovered all those little nooks and crannies she so yearned to explore in her wolf form.
