South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Abigail Hughes

Abigail hardly dwelled over that simple fact that the young woman was talking to her, as in with direct responses. After all, many people talked to animals, they might yell at them or hold whole conversations with them as if it was possible for her kind to understand them. As it was, Abigail was entirely capable of understanding, even if her responses were more of a series of noises. People as a whole liked to pretend they were answers, which they often were, and so, in that aspect the young woman whom had saved her from that bush was hardly any different. A soft huff left her lips as she tumbled out of that bush, several pieces of small leaves still caught in that short russet fur. In fact, the poor little panda looked all together ruffled! At least, until she shook out her body with giving that bush one final glower behind her shoulder. What a rude bush indeed! Abigail was all too content to mirror that 'Humph!' upon her companion's lips with one of her own, though the result sounded more like a puff of air leaving her nose in an almost agitated fashion. Her bright hazel eyes redirected upon that picnic spread out before her. Her little nose twitched as she waddled towards the edge of that blanket, that mention of fruit and sharing fully caught Abigail's attention.

She flopped on the edge of that blanket, the young woman certainly had her fair share of polite manners. You weren't supposed to eat food if it wasn't offered to you! The woman had sort of offered it but...that wasn't quite the same, she was sure. Her hazel eyes turned towards the young woman, watching her with a hint of curiosity as her gaze fluttered from that blonde hair to those slightly pointed ears. As it was, Abigail thought even less of those small tips to what she was sure were otherwise normal ears. The young woman was perhaps the pure epitome of oblivious but, in her defense, she had never actually met a fairy before. In fact, she had never even heard of the fae existing before, not that she truly knew much of other species from the beginning. She had such a sheltered life that the young woman had never really been exposed to what the outside world had to offer. As far as Abigail was concerned, she had just met a brand new friend with yummy food and a perchance for rescuing fluffy pandas from secret spy evil bushes. That alone was good enough, wasn't it?

That soprano voice drew the little creature's hazel gaze. Her head tilted to the side with her best attempt to smile on those animal like features. It was that notion of fruit, however, that truly drew Abigail's interest. She'd always had a weakness for fruit, they were her favorite - though not enough to prompt the woman to venture into those giant crowded grocery stores. No, she preferred the small fruit stands and farmers markets she'd discovered simply for the fact that the sheer number of people in those corporate establishments tended to overwhelm the woman who was born in a mere fishing village. Still, those sorts of places had all the best fruit she'd never seen and never tasted before! She was often astounded by the sheer variety of some of her favorite things - like apples! Where she grew up they never had so many choices of apples! Her head bobbed quite happily, she certainly would like some apples! Thank you very much! What she didn't expect, however, was for her new found savior to attempt to reassure her that she wasn't some creepy scary lady. Abby herself was already certain of this fact as it was. After all, how many scary people rescued innocent animals from hungry bushes?!

The sound of that stranger's name was met with a ready bark of her own as a way of introduction, the young woman entirely willing to introduce herself even though she was rather certain Illy would never guess her name. After all, Arlo called her Chicka and Anna-Marie had named her Lady. In fact, Abigail had come to quite the collection of names, none of which were her own. "It's nice to meet you Illy, my name is Abigail but you can call me Abby if you want! Does this make us friends now?" She inquired, her head tilting nearly comically to the side as she regarded the young woman in front of her. Abby liked to have friends. She liked meeting friends and making friends because she was a friendly person! Friends were awesome. Still, she watched as Illiana settled beside her with crossed legs with a warm giggle on her lips before, quite abruptly, blurting out a question Abigail was entirely capable of answering. "I'm a panda! Seeeee." She flicked her russet tail as if she was showing off her own figure before flopping back down to answer those questions of her eating habits. "I can eat meat! I like oranges and apples and blackberries and eggs and broccoli and um... chicken...have you ever had lamb? I've heard it's amazing!" The young woman was entirely content to list her likes masked wholly by a series of chirps from her lips. Oh yes, Abigail could be particularly talkative when it suited her.
