South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

I can't help this awful energy
Goddamn right, you should be scared of me

The horizon was alight with that orange glow of destruction, those flickering flames were eating up the forest, sending billowing clouds of darkness into the air. The ash was falling like snow around him, floating down from the sky to land upon his palm. His emerald eyes stared down at those flakes of ash, that frown marred his usually handsome features as the were King leaned against the railing of the Ark's deck. The fire, whatever had caused it, was still far enough away to not be an immediate threat to that metal ship and yet, with the wind shifting towards them, the boundaries of his territory certainly fell within that line of a very real fire. A look of temporary indecision crossed the man's features. He was safe here and yet, he knew well by now that death was truly of no great threat to him. There was particularly little he could do in the face of a raging inferno and yet, was it not his job to protect that which was his and any whom happened to fall within that boundary of it? A soft sigh left his lips as he stepped back. He reached up, peeling that shirt from his caramel skin before his fingers shifted to work at those buttons on his jeans. Those pants and undergarments were discarded quickly after. He paused momentarily upon that deck, stretching out his limbs before he allowed that change to overcome him, those muscles ripping and tearing, his bones snapping and reforming and his skin changed to ebony fur - leaving nothing but that jungle cat in it's wake. His cat was far more equipped to handling such a situation as this, of that he was assured.

Those ebony shadows raced to embrace that feline form, stealing him away from the deck of that ship only for his body to materialize at the far reaches of his territory - that place where West met South and forest gave way to dilapidated buildings with their seedy businesses. At the very least, the majority of those industrial buildings had been crafted with a brick exterior, at least decreasing his concern for those ever relentless flames. The feline settled upon his haunches as the loud screaming sirens of the fire trucks sped to the scene, those hoses uncurled with every intention to douse that wild conglaturation with gallons upon gallons of water. Those emerald eyes stared at those leaping and darting flames, his thoughts momentarily venturing to a place he so rarely allowed them to. He couldn't help the memories of another fire that lingered on the forefront of his brain - one a very long time ago. So much of it was the same, the once bright night sky clouded with smoke and ash. The fires ripped through those trees as if they were mere toothpicks. That shout that reverberated within the darkness reminded him of those screams of his family....dying. It was that cry of a single word, however, that forced the were-King to blink away that recollection, his gaze refocused on that firefighter who'd found what he declared to be lava.

Tetradore rose, a hint of inquisitiveness as he stepped closer towards that forest, eying that glowing spot from afar. It was hardly difficult to find that spot singled with the remains of that red substance, much less to piece together that this was hardly an anomaly. This fire had been set, by something with animal shaped prints. A soft puff of air left the ebony beast's nose and yet, it was his need to protect that had brought him out here thus far. To turn back now simply seemed cowardly. A soft huff left his lips as his ebony form stepped forward, ignoring the shouts of that firefighter as he followed that trail, all the while knowing it brought him away from his territory and closer towards that looming threat of that fire. Moving upwind of that fire proved to be distinctly uncomfortable. That heat was far too close to comfort, the panther moving against that tide of animals that wished to be free of that perceived danger and yet, here he was charging into the center of it. Those steps seemed wholly meandering, the lava sometimes following a near haphazard pattern as if whomever the cause of it was either unaware of what they were doing or had purposefully moved in such a fashion to maximize the damage they could do. Slowly, but surely, that smoke began to thin out, that fire no more than mere sparks slowly starting to eat at the trees rather than a burning inferno. It was in this stillness that a rather familiar scent reached his nose. Mira.

That concern for the woman near instantly filled him, if only for that promise of sorts to keep her safe from those ghosts that haunted her. He knew well enough of her past to fear it might have finally caught up with her. That simple worry was somehow enough to spur that panther onward, leading the man ever closer towards that luminescent cave so filled with the poignant scent of Mira. It was with a hint of tentativeness that the ebony King stepped into that cave, his own mind reaching out to find that familiar, though clearly anxious one of that young woman. "Mira?" His voice was soft as it entered her mind, the man stepping into that cave, halting quite abruptly at the sight of her. That look of surprise was quite clear, even upon those feline features. "What happened?". He inquired as he took in that form of that liquid lava that near oozed from what had once been ebony fur. It wasn't often Tetradore called upon that rather peculiar affinity, his own sleek hide hardening to a sort of stone like material. That granite was particularly chosen for it's durability against those high heats. It was only once he was assured of that stone coating his frame that he stepped closer towards her, his head reaching out to her, his maw brushing against her cheek in an altogether tender gesture, the man clearly attempting to reassure her that all was okay.
