South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Oliver Burton

The move to Sacrosanct had been strenuous in all ways. Setting up a head office here was no easy feat, even for someone like him who could afford the help he needed to get things done right. His job was everything, a love/hate type of thing. He had power and he liked it that way, it was much better than feeling powerless, he had felt that way for too long of his life. Anywhere he went the man was certain he would possess it. After all, money could buy you nearly everything one could desire. For so long he had remained powerless, and not even love kept him or his family safe. It was his success that did that. It would be the only thing that kept him on top while the others remained reaching. It was a fulfilled life, at least he thought. If only he knew what he was truly missing. But ignorance breeds bliss.

Regardless, he was an absolute pill be around at times, when the angry bear within him was rising. He was taking his anger out on his assistant and the people who would hard to make this move possible. He had neglected his animal side for too long and it was tearing him apart. He was on edge and he needed release. He needed to give in. He simply had no choice, or he was going to rip the throat out of some poor unsuspecting person that accidently found him at the wrong moment. It always seemed to be the wrong moment these days.

He felt this constant nagging urge to rip someone's head off. He was convinced it was his inner bear that added to his grumpiness. He hadn't the faintest idea of where to go, he would have to purchase some land, isolated from the city so he could be undisturbed. After all, you can't have someone see him in his were form. Polar bears stood out like a sore thumb and the last thing he needed was to be hunted down because someone thought he was someone's dangerous loose pet or a zoo escapee. He brought far too much attention and that was the exact opposite he desired.

The south would have to do for now. Somewhere deep in the deepest part of the woods where the prying eyes of humans would not catch a glimpse of the massive white bear roaming around as he became acquainted with the sights and smells. A long sigh escaped him, the forest didn't suit him. It wasn't that he didn't like it. He didn't mind it. It didn't feel completely right either. Regardless it would do for now until he could do better.

Oliver was lost in the thick of his own thoughts, following the musty smell of water and the faint smell of possible fish. The bear roamed through the tangled brush, his massive paws sinking into the soft dirt and decaying foliage beneath his weight. He could not deny that it was peaceful here. This quiet emptiness he was rarely afforded. Moments he certainly needed more of. No one to bother him with tedious questions and neediness. His business was the last thing on his mind in this form.

But there was an unusual scent upon the ground. His massive head lowered where his big muzzle nearly buried into the soil beneath him to get a better scent. He couldn't quite place it and he was sure he never smelled it before, unable to place it. It was prominent enough to know it was close and yet it had faded. He groaned to himself. There was something else here, he would be sure to be illusive of. He turned to move in an entirely new direction without a haste but it was better this way. The animals in this forest seemed to avoid him, despite the curiosity. Hopefully, this one was no different.

What he didn't expect was something to assault him over head, something soft yet hard plopped upon his back with a thud. He growled, a bear roar escaping him. A truly terrifying sound that echoed through the wood. For a moment it sounded like all was quiet. Even the normal sound of the forest seemed to be silenced by that roaring sound.

What the hell was that? It caught him completely off guard he nearly stood up upon his back too legs to face his assaulter.

He turned his enormous head to catch a glimpse at what landed on him. What he did manage was to catch a small glimpse of what landed on him a start rusty red colour, he couldn't catch a good enough look but he could feel it wiggling and rolling about upon his back. This was the very thing that was intending to avoid. He groaned, grumbling to himself, the thing didn't seem to want to go anywhere. "I came out here for a fish meal.. but I will settle for you." He replied rather grumpily, revealing a glint of those bone crushing teeth of his. He could be really suave when he wanted to but he was on edge. This was the first quiet he had a taste of in weeks. Yet despite his frightening words he didn't actually move to follow up on his threat. He shook his body half heatedly as if trying to dislodge whatever that was on his back. Was he really going to eat the thing that landed on his back? Probably not but he was to scare it off whatever it was so he could return to that same blissful quietude before.
