South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

A faerily odd encounter

Navi continued to peer below the branch suspiciously looking to see what had caused that twig to snap. Again, she scanned left and right, squinting to see past the darkness. After what seemed to be eternity of peering in every direction trying to find at least something, to her amazement, nothing was in sight. It took her a few moments before she relaxed and settled back down on to the branch. While she proceeded to lazily shut her sleep ridden eyes she couldn't help but feel...odd. At first, she assumed it could have been her imagination or that she was just paranoid and continued to keep her eyes closed. She tried to clear her mind, count sheep, adjust her sleeping position, yet nothing worked. She tried anything she thought that would get her to fall asleep, but that uneasy feeling of something lurking about the area didn't pass.
Instead, she still laid awake with her eyes closed trying to feel relaxed by listening to her surroundings. The wind hummed against her ears while the trees' leaves rustled about. The quiet park acted like white noise that dragged her into a trance. As she sank deeper into her mind, a faint "crunch", echoed. It seemed every time she listened to the "crunch", sound, it got louder. And louder. Suddenly the noise made one final "crunch", that seemed to be directly below her. Her stomach dropped. Startled, she swiftly opened her eyes and she found herself in a sudden staring contest with an unfamiliar gentleman. "Who are you?" she demanded. He appeared to be almost as tall as the branch she sat upon, for she practically sat face to face with the man. Bewildered by the sudden appearance of the guy, she surveyed him up and down. He had dark brown locks that seemed to perfectly shape his alluring face. His frame was as sturdy as the tree trunks and she was met with piercing hazel eyes gazing playfully at her. He then asked her if she was comfortable up in that tree.
She was not amused by the man acting so casually towards her. "Leave me be," she instructed. This was the first time a person had caught her so off guard that she got extremely cranky. She usually was quick witted and distant towards others but she watched as he remained beneath the tree, gazing at her. "Can't you see you're bothering me?", yet the man remained statue-like. She waited for any sort of response but was ultimately met with silence. "He seems rather harmless. Dimwitted, but harmless," she mumbled to herself. She looked him up and down again, amazed that he was still putting up with her after the rude remarks she had made. Rather than staying annoyed at the man before her, her attitude seemed to change. She was interested in learning why he still stood there in a dumbstruck fashion looking up at her. There was something about the gentleman who was standing in the moonlight under the tree that made her think that maybe, he was like her. Maybe, he too, got lost in his own thoughts...more often than others. For once, she was curious to know more about someone. Continuing to gaze at him she noticed that he wasn't exactly human. She couldn't place what it was exactly about him that didn't seem human... it just seemed to be the man's demeanor that made her think he was unique. She wondered, if this was the first time she'd get to meet someone of her same race. "What exactly are you?", she inquired as she hopped down from the branch and stood in front of him
