South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

i used to rule the world

seas would rise when i gave the word

The Macedonian King stumbled backwards into that wall, his legs suddenly giving out beneath him only to send him crashing into the ground. Inwardly, he could hardly help that cursing at even allowing himself to be placed in such a precarious position. Although the immediate threat was quite clearly vanquished, being a debilitated hunter upon the streets of Sacrosanct was never a spot Alexander wished to be in. Those cobblestone alleyways were filled with the vile and the supernatural, those just waiting on the opportunity to decrease the numbers of his own population. That wasn't to say that Alexander was not aware of the good that could exist with the supernatural - he'd merely seen centuries enough of the maliciousness. Still, he supposed a life was worth it. At the very least that venom that ran rampant through his veins merely dulled that fit form rather than that sharp wit and intelligent mind. In a way, it was almost a true sort of cruelty to those victims of the vampire. They would be perfectly aware of what was going on, of what was being done to them, leaving them incapable of doing anything to prevent that rather obvious fate. Yes - killing him had certainly been worth it.

Those blue-green eyes rested upon the form of the young woman he'd saved, even if her features had become little more than an ever increasing mess of colors. It was difficult to attempt to decipher what he was seeing, his eyebrows furrowed as he watched that blob move closer towards him. She sounded so very far away and yet, his body could feel her near to him in a way that was difficult to explain. He was well aware of the way she seemed to watch him, his gaze following those colorful bits move around his vision. It took effort, to get his arm to move, the appendage somehow holding the weight of a log and yet, Alexander was well known for his sheer determination, coaxing him to often perform the impossible. His fingers lightly brushed up against those ebony locks. That sense of touch, it seemed, was hardly dulled by that poison, quite the opposite, it seemed his body was attempting to heighten that alone to compensate for that which he was losing. How troublesome. Even so, Alexander's fingers brushed lightly against her neck, that velveteen baritone voice inquiring with a draw to those syllables. His Greek accent, it seemed, came out strong when his body was laden with chemicals it shouldn't have.

Her assurance brought a small simper to his features, the man clearly satisfied with his success. "Thank the gods..." He commented softly, his hand falling to the ground beneath him. At the very least, Alexander had succeeded in his goal. His eyebrows furrowed once again at the sudden sensation of those soft fingertips against his neck, the very sensation sent a shudder down his spine. It was, however, that nearly naive inquiry, however, that prompted a low chuckle from his lips, that touch near fleeting even as she remained settled in front of him. "Heavens no. I am already...another thing....I could not be that thing even if I wanted to be." Alexander's explanation was far more vague than he usually offered and yet, it was the best sort of reassurance he could provide her. After all, as much as he hated to admit it, he might very well just need her tonight. He watched as she began to shift away from him, her gait clearly wobbly as she moved away from him, though, to fetch what, he couldn't quite see. Thankfully, the girl hardly seemed quite ready to leave him, his own thoughts already preoccupied with just how he intended to get her to stay. What he didn't expect, however, was that the woman happened to have bandaids somewhere within the depths of her purse. Those brightly colored band aids coaxed another warm chuckle from his lips, that venom clearly getting the best of him as he attempted to shake his head, the gesture failing quite miserably. "No, thank you....I mean it." Alexander commented softly, his hand slowly raising to rest upon hers in an almost...tender fashion that was hardly like the often callous man.

He was well aware of that fear within her voice as she inquired to his ability to walk, the man unable to help that relief he felt at that simple addition of the word 'we'. Yes, it was best they move, after all, he was putting her in danger just as much as he was in danger of calling those those supernatural beings to them. Alexander nodded slowly, his hand reaching up to clutch at any out jutting brick he could find. It took him a moment, for his fingers to latch onto something to pull his weight upwards. "With a bit of help, I think." He commented, his back leaning against that brick. His hand reached out, that blade materializing within his fingers in mere seconds, the tip no longer tainted with the red of blood, as if it had never been in battle in the first place. "To keep us safe." The Macedonian man explained simply while he gestured her upward and to his side. After all, he was going to need her help to get them even down and around the corner of the street. His legs felt more akin to jelly then that usually assuredness they provided.

His gaze turned towards her on the ground, that position she'd taken up far more telling of her current mental state of mind then he suspected even she was aware of. That softly whispered question, however, was answered rather rapidly before Alexander reached his hand out to her, fully intending to help her up, even if the action was more likely to pull him back down. "Alexander." He hardly had a chance to continue but before she was off muttering her appreciation, those words clearly brushed away all too easily. "It's my job. Unfortunately, I need to to keep it together for a little longer, okay? Let's get to your home and then we can deal with what happened all right?" After all, the last thing Alexander needed was a sobbing hysterical woman when he was veritably useless as it was in his current state.
