South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

South

She had been so absorbed in her encounter with Caesar that she didn't pay attention to her surroundings. She was usually very cautious, especially in new territory, but she was shaken and the pain was overwhelming. She didn't expect to feel regret flowing through her veins. She knew that being with other weres was the right choice. Frost had been kind to her and showed her what she needed to know to fit into the human world. The other weres Nadya and Tetradore and even Henry showed her that there were others out there who actually cared. It wasn't all just about getting something for themselves, something she was still getting used to. Usually she would have picked up on Tetradore's scent in a minute. She was so attuned to his scent by now that it was second nature. Besides Frost, he was the next one that she usually found herself hanging out with, though she still checked in on Henry from time to time to make sure he was alright. She knew he was still coming to terms with what he was and she wished he would let her help but she understood wanting to do things at your own pace.

She would have never guessed that Tetradore and Henry had found each other and that Henry had joined his pack. She also would have never expected them to be together on this night and see her in this vulnerable state. She hated appearing weak to anyone. She thought she was alone besides the howls of her former pack. She let the weakness take over, the sobs racking her body as the tears flowed down her furred cheeks. It was the moment that the roar of a large cat echoed through the forest around her that she knew she wasn't alone. Her whole body tensed and then shivered because she recognized the voice even though she'd never heard him make that sound before. Her nose started twitching and then she picked up on the scent, that musky cologne she would knew anywhere. But there was someone else with him....someone else familiar. Her ears laid back to her skull and she was quick to sit up and sniffle, trying to dry her eyes on her paws as she rubbed at them furiously. Dammit! She thought to herself. Now she had to try to think of an excuse for why she'd been laying here like an idiot.

She heard him walking up behind her and she flicked an ear back at him, her tail giving a thump on the ground as she turned her head to look at him, her eyes glistening but even then, daring him to say something about it. His voice was soft and concerned and she hated herself even more for letting him see her like this. Why tonight of all nights? She sniffled once more, wiping her muzzle on her paw. "Allergies, am I right? Too much pollen in these woods, I always tell myself." She shook her head and rolled her eyes, getting to her paws as her ears twisted around for a minute, making sure she wasn't still being chased by her former pack. It was quiet for the moment, like they had decided to steer clear of the scents of two panthers for the time being. Caesar knew without her that it was no fight. She felt a strike of pride go through her at that though. She shook out her coat and gave Tetradore a wry smirk, trying to appear normal. "What brings you out here? And who's your friend?"

The other panther had come down the tree with Tetradore and she recalled hearing some less than graceful noises, leading her to believe the other panther wasn't as fluid as the pack alpha. So a new were? Her mind was already going crazy by the time he got to her and started nudging and then pawing at her. Shaking away his movements before she got up to talk to Tetradore, she took a good long look at the panther. It was his eyes that gave him away. Those eyes she would knew anywhere. They were the first human eyes she'd ever seen and now they were his were eyes and yet she still knew him. Her eyes widened in shock. "Henry?" It came out as a breath, her tail giving another wave. She glanced between the two hurridly. "Wait....so I was right? You DID make him a were, didn't you?" She said to Tetradore accusingly. Then she gasped and batted her paw at him. "That means you bit him, you butthead!"
