South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

"No, you clutching it far to tightly. Christ, Sera. You've got a death grip on it."

Azrael hands reached easily forward once more to loosen the witch's grip on that gun handle and assist her in repositioning her hands and fingers all over again before he stepped back. His head nodded again toward that 'X' carved into the trunk of the tree. His golden gaze rested easily upon his girlfriend then as he waited for her to attempt firing a second time. Even if it was only a Nerf gun loaded with nothing more than foam 'bullets'. Azrael had vehemently refused to allow her to hold his own far more real gun without first proving she was capable of actually handling a fake one. Sera, he had decided, did not take training terribly seriously. Azrael having lost count of the times he'd turned around only to be pelted with bullets . How she managed to hit him every time and yet miss stationary targets remained to be seen. She'd have damn well have failed the Council test if she'd ever had to take it. Whatever question the witch had been about to ask readily saw her turn back towards him once more- that plastic gun pointed innocently toward him as that sigh left him once more. His hands thrown readily upward.

"I hope your happy, babe. My head has just been blown off and is rolling down the fucking hill over there because you pointed the gun at me, probably didn't set the safety and would probably have accidentally fired it. We're not moving on to the hand to hand stuff until i've hit that bloody target. Here."

He gestured loosely toward that target once more before stepping easily upward to stand behind the raven-haired witch who had, someone, despite it all, managed to captivate him entirely. Even with her inability to hit a stationary target. His arms lifted smoothly, wrapping around her, his hands and fingers laying across her own as he raised both their arms to point that gun forward. His fingers guided her own this time until they rested in that easy position- one that came so naturally to himself he so hardly needed to consider it any more. A part of him almost....discontent in that very knowledge and yet he had chose to consider it further now. Rather, he simply shifted ever so slightly more forward until Serafina's back rested against the hard plains off his own chest. The womans slender figure rising and falling softly with each breath. Azrael, this time, letting his head rest lightly on her shoulder and beside her own. His words, for once, as quiet as they were assured.

"Take it slowly. Breath in, breathe out. You only want to fire on the exhale. Your hand will be steadier. Keep your arms as straight as possible and don't roll your eyes at me I can see you. If you can hit that target twice I'll even pay for dinner tonight."

That faint hint of a simper found his lips all the same, his hands slowly lifting from her own to brush down her sides and come to rest on her waist. Sera, this time, far more focused. He could feel it in her stance alone. That faint, plastic click of the trigger echoing a moment later as that foam bullet finally struck its target. Azrael not uninclined to admit some amount of satisfaction in finally having managed to actually assist Sera in making that shot. The witch lining up for that second shot then, the blond Hunter lifting his arms once more to help her position herself again before his hands returned to her hips. His head, this time, tilting just slightly to let his lips press suddenly just below her ear. His golden gaze flickering to that gun as it wavered ever so slightly. Sera already appearing to be struggling to hold that position. Another simper finding the Hunter's lips as they trailed even lower. Azrael nothing short of determined from distracting Sera from that second shot. The click of that gun seeing the foam bullet fire dramatically to the left to miss the tree entirely. That ready chuckle falling from his lips then as he abruptly leaned away. That affinity for speed seeing the Hunter reappear against that tree itself, one leg folding over the other as he leant against it. His shoulders shrugging.

"You missed. Your supposed to ignore distractions."

One eye lifted ever so slightly. Azrael nothing short of pleased with himself. The Hunter in an unusually good mood and yet it was an unusually pleasant evening- even despite the chill of the air. That park was very near empty. The sun just beginning to set over that horizon. Serafina and Azrael entirely alone within that sheltered space on the far side of the park and away from prying eyes. Azrael had, for once, been persuaded to take two days off in a row. The man dressed in little more than those old jeans and grey jacket, the vast majority of those weapons left at home. The Hunter, for the first time in months, appearing almost....relaxed with the world at large. Azrael, steadily, having become content enough in Serafina's presence over that year they had been dating to lose most of that very animosity that so seemed to set the world against him. A state of being that seemed to exist for Serafina alone. That raven haired witch, more than any other, proving holly capable of coaxing those genuine simpers to his lips- even if his impatience still remained as prominent as ever.

"Are you ready to lose to me at hand to hand fighting now or do you want to miss the tree target some more?"

His desire to provoke his girlfriend equally as well intact. That snort of amusement left him easily then as he leant forward from that tree to wander toward the small collection of training equipment he'd left piled beside the bushes. The Hunter grasping that foam sword before tossing it easily toward Sera and snatching a second one from the ground for himself. That sword twirled easily and expertly about within his hand. His gaze lifting to meet the woman own. Those words leaving him abruptly then.

"What do you think about going away, after Christmas? On a holiday."

He could hardly remember the last time he'd taken a holiday anywhere. Let alone taken anyone with him. Still, the very idea that Sera might......like it.....was enough to prompt that suggestion all the same.....

"I've got a few weeks off at the end of the year I might as well use it. Besides, that card of mine needs needs a bit more use if you think you can manage to do some spending."
