"Nothing ever gets pass you though, you're always aware of everything."
With a small simper one hand would gently stroke through his dark shaggy hair for a moment as her blue-grey eyes stared into his golden gaze. He was a peculiar man, but his oddities were the reason why she found something in him to connect with. Although at times he didn't understand everything around him he was capable of picking up abnormalities and things that everyone else overlooked. Tobias was special in every sense of the word. The thought of some innocent poor soul stumbling upon them when she was unclothed was not something she wanted to go through again. There was absolutely no way that individual could erase from their mind what they had just saw or run away from the clutches of her overprotective mate. To some his overprotectiveness would be a turn off, but for her it was a trait she cherished.
When he left her to hop onto that railing she slowly got up to follow him, attempting to not be too obvious in what she was really trying to accomplish. Even though he asked her what she wished to do for the day she was quick to throw the question back to him. Raven knew he was trying to be kind and give her a chance to decide on what they would do, but he was trapped for so long, incapable of doing what he wanted to do. Although his question to her was rhetorical she was willing to give him an honest answer. His reply caught her off guard as she held her breath, her cheeks turning into a rosy pink shade, finding his reply endearing. Gently her thumb would rub the top of his hands as she gently led him off the railing, unable to reply.
Leading him away from the railing and back into their room it didn't take long for the two of them to easily decide on what they wanted to do. It wasn't surprising to hear that her spotted companion wanted to spend his time, in control, to be behind the wheel and drive them around. He rarely ever got to drive. The only time his other half drove was when he was doing driving lessons with Tetradore, going very slow and sometimes not even on the correct side of the road. He was trying, and yet he wasn't near being capable of driving on the road by his own let alone get his driver's license. Leaving him to stand in their room she headed over to the dresser to pull out that pamphlet that contained the different activities they could participate in. Spending time with elephants sounded like a fun thing for them to do. That was the point of the honeymoon, right? To do fun things together to create new memories that they would remember forever. Seeing that frown on his face she was quick to throw him a big smile as she easily explained to her husband why she wanted to do this particular activity.
"They are the world's largest land animal...why not see one in Africa? Besides they are pretty cute, especially the babies."
It was a simple answer and one that shouldn't make him worry. Hearing him chuckle at her suggestion for other activities she shyly looked at the ground. It wasn't typical of her to be so very forward on such things. Back at home if she wished to begin such activities she whispered her question to see if he would be interested. Not once did he say no. If anything he was always willing to begin such activities. As always with her it took a bit of time and comfort to get her out of her shell. Hearing him agree that he would enjoy such things was to be expected. Yet when he said but she looked up at him a bit worried. As he drew her in for an affectionate kiss she rested her hands on his shoulder as his hands laid gently on her waist. A guilty look appeared on her face when he questioned why she led him here in the first place. She looked over at the verandah and the railing she easily led him off and then back to him. All she could do was nod in agreement and teasingly start to tug the robe strap out from its knot, taking one of the straps to gently smack his side, and then turned around and headed towards the closet. Getting herself dressed she spoke over her shoulder in reply.
"Back at home no, but I bought some for you, because well...you need it here. Bottom drawer in that wardrobe are your shoes and socks, if you don't wear socks you'll get blisters."
There Tobias would find a pair of sneakers, hiking boots, and various socks that were white or carried some sort of colorful design like hot rod cars. The woman attempted to find things both of his sides would enjoy. Wearing a set of jeans and a loose blue plaid shirt with a dark grey shirt underneath that was low cut. Slipping on his own hiking boots easily she bent over to tie them. Heading back towards the dresser she picked up a black hair tie and pulled her golden-brown curls into a messy pony tail, with some strands falling down to frame her scarred face. Slipping the cameras' neck slap around her neck she grabbed two pairs of dark sun glasses, handing one to her mate. The sun would be quite bright for the two of them running around the safari. Taking her head into her own she headed back out on the verandah with him, shutting the doors behind them and heading across towards another section of the hotel where there was a table laid out with some fruit and breakfast sandwiches filled with eggs and bacon. Looking over to her mate she gestured over to him to have at the food and headed towards a staff worker, asking a few questions. In just a few minutes she came back to him with a key, basket, and little backpack with a grin on her face.
"They gave us the key to the four wheeler, and in the backpack there is a map with a trail that takes us around, and hints at what we might see when we go about. They said because we were Weres it was okay to walk around, but to be extremely careful as they aren't used to us, although I doubt we'll do anything silly like that. The basket here contains some food for lunch if we get hungry."
Pulling out the map from the backpack she handed it to him and the key, letting him take the lead.
