South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

QUITE AN EXPERIENCE TO LIVE IN FEAR, ISN'T IT?

"WHAT IS IT LIKE?" HE WHISPERED
"IT'S LIKE DROWNING. EXCEPT YOU CAN SEE EVERYONE AROUND YOU BREATHING." I REPLIED

Regan decides she's had enough of catching fish. Tigers, being one of the few large cat species who actually like water, wades further out into the stream. The water glides across her skin, dampening the ebony of her coat. The girl relishes the sensation of the coolness against the warmth of her flesh. She sinks deeper into the stream, her head slipping beneath the surface with a contended purr.

"Makes you smell better."

The girls mind brushes against Raven's from beneath the water. The lupine smells all too male and feline for a wolf. Though, why Regan cares she doesn't really know. Just accepts the fact that Raven smells better with her scent mixed into the animals cologne. Her large head breaches the surface and a gust of air splashes the water around her nose. Regan swims back towards the wolf, mulling over her question. How did she like this place? Not to forest, but the town. She hadn't been here long...although Regan is not known for sticking around. With a heave she leaps onto the dry bank and shakes the water from her coat. Sighing, she lays down and rests her head atop her massive paws. Thoughts and memories swirling just behind her violet eyes.

"I like it well enough I suppose."

There is a pause, a mulling of words. During this time Regan's mind withdrawals from Raven. Still unwilling to share anything with this wolf-girl aside from words. For a long moment the tiger remains silent. Both outwardly and inward. She's not used to sharing her feelings with anyone and this proves a harder task then she intended.

"It is...better...then most places I inhabit."

Let the wolf think of that what she will. Though if the other girls scars were anything to go by, she knew, somewhat, the meaning behind Regan's words. Some places just don't warrant explanations. Her long ebony tail flicks restlessly across the banks surface. Her eyes close and her senses expand. Regan paints a mental image of her surroundings inside her mind -- like most felines, she is more aware of everything when her eyes are shut. Let sleeping tigers lay and all that.

More minutes pass. Moments lost in thoughts and silence. Slowly, she blinks her eyes open and fixes her gaze on the bear sized wolf. There is much she doesn't know...much she doesn't care to. Ugh. Always at war with herself.

"What about you. How do you like it here?"

The girl obviously had more emotional connections to the place and its people. She might be inept at social interaction most of the time, but she knew the leopard boy, Tobi, was far more than her 'best friend'.
