South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The University of Sacrosanct

The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. Her command that he stop staring is met with little more then a blink by way of reward for her efforts, the cat merely doing as cats often do, content to blankly stare for evidently no reason at all before he proceeds to rub his form against the length of her body, tawny gold fur meeting with black as he does, a satisfied purr pulled from his lips as she moves to lean into him, seeming to earn the girl the barest moment of approval from the stoic creature as his tail follows along the rest of his form, offering the same caress against her before she speaks once more, those words finding his mind easier this time. They do not hold the same manner of ease as a pack bond and yet he has grown used to her presence and company within his warehouse kingdom and beside him on some nights and as such it would seem, he has decided to more willingly allow such communication, though her words are met with little more than a tilted head and curious look.

"Not cold. I like it...when you....smell like me."

Well. At least he is honest. His shoulders roll in a highly suspicious attempt at a shrug of sorts, evidently seeming no problem at all with marking the girl in the same way as he marks his territory, content to add her to his collection of possessions as he wanders past her, crouching down with eyes as those golden eyes close, though he offers no attempt at merely counting, content to simply sit and wait for a time he deems acceptable as ears twitch and fold, listening to the girl as she hurries off, the sound of her paws and the taste of her upon the wind becoming more and more distant, weaker with every touch as his tail flicked in momentary anticipation. It has been a long time indeed since he has played this game, not since he was a child, not since Tet and Naddy were so much smaller....happier and the world a far simpler place. It was due to such a game that he had been given to discover his rather unique talents and as such it ad quickly become his favourite, despite Tet never truly liking to let him be the 'seeker' for his ability to so shamelessly cheat.

The efforts of the wolf are no doubt exceptional, her scent near invisible to him as those golden eyes slide open once more, immense jaws parting to taste the air entirely before he moves to break into a lope, following what bare trail he can, seeking any hint of her scent amongst the earth and rocky outcrops that mark the forest, the sound of the running water a distant distraction as he simply allows his own unique skill to take over, scent and sound simply no longer needed as he lunges forward, instinct along assuring him of her location as he lopes onward, already well aware of her hiding place despite her efforts to confuse him and indeed, were he any other they surely would have. As it is, he finds the location of her cave in near record time, leaping excitedly into the entrance way, large form silhouetted against the darkness before bounds forward and down the tunnel, proceeding to leap atop her in a manner more akin to a kitten then a man, teeth pulling at her ear a moment, the boy seeming utterly exuberant each time he locates a target in this manner before he leaps aside again, eyes aglow in the dark.

I win, I win!

He always wins.

Now Birdie must close her...eyes

He waits only long enough for the wolf to do as asked, seeming content to offer no explanation as to how he has found her so quickly before racing from the den itself, scampering around and back into the forest, breaking into a run now- rapidly extending the distance between himself and his new companion, content to settle a score entirely and assure his victory as he leaps upward and into a tree, launched vertically upward and clear of the earth as only a leopard can do, leaving no scent as he does- before proceeding to leap from tree to tree and off over the river- landing upon the far bank before hurriedly moving to conceal himself behind a rather large rock pile, form tucked tight and curled about itself, peering through the gap in the rocks to assure him of her approach- should she even get this far.
