South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Take Me Where I've Never Been

South

As the sun continued to set I did not seem troubled with the time. I would be coming home to my Uncle most likely sometime after dinner. It would provide me the small window of having to deal with him and his easily to anger attitude. He would have already eaten his dinner and most likely would give me a lecture that he had wasted food on me because I didn't arrive to eat it. Though I know his shouting would cease when he looked at the clock and went out on his nightly hunts. I am not sure where he goes, but I know what he does could end up getting him killed. I'd lie id I wasn't worried about his own outings. Though I am sure if I admitted my worries to him he would shove them off and not truly care. He is the last connection to my family and there is so much I wish to learn and I want him to show me. He hasn't been in my life for such a long time and yet I feel connected to him, as if I have always known him, and I have to admit that does bring me some small comfort. Even if he is a pain in the ass I am happy that I at least get the chance to live with him and actually be in a household where there is family and to have someone so unconcerned with the inheritance I am entitled to.

As I continue my walk along the winding pathway I am unaware that Frost is around. I do not have the ability to sense another Were or a supernatural for that matter. Instead I am oblivious to such things. Though I shouldn't be. My hands are within the pockets of my jacket as I walk quite assured that I was in no danger. Clearly I was wrong. I heard the sound of thunder in the distance and I actually looked up at the dark sky seeing no rain clouds at all, but the beginning of some of the stars to come out, twinkling almost. Puzzled I look around and I stand still and my bright blue eyes widen in shock. I am to afraid to even know what to do. There heading my way was the cause of the thunderous sound, a rather angered horse was racing his way towards me. I have never met this horse before, but I know that in the world I live in he is most likely a Were. I had done nothing to him, but I am sure that this may be revenge for my Uncle doing something to him or to someone he knows. Uncle Azrael always told me that I would be in danger because of him. As he gets closer I am about to turn around and run when suddenly I see the familiar cremello pelt of Frost. Yet he seems to have not noticed me because he charges right into Darius. I let out a soft yelp as I bring my hands to my face, trying to protect my head as I side step to the left and right dodging and ducking as their heavy hooves slice through the air like deadly scythes.

I cannot possibly get out of this trap with my head still intact. As they go at each other and swing their necks around to bite one another I manage to jump back and take a few steps away, but they seem to follow me and I am trapped once more. Their battle cries do nothing, but frighten me as I turn my hands into fists and manage to strike Darius hard into his shoulder area, the only place I can reach without being trampled by both. I am not sure why I am stuck or how I even got in this mess, but I am out and I know Frost wouldn't hurt me...I just...know it. I let out a gasp as I see Darius pivot and strike his back hooves into Frost and I manage to throw him a sadden and frightened look. I know I cannot go to him and help, but I do try to get out, but I find that my side is collided by one of Darius hooves. I let out a sharp cry as I clutch my side the wind knocked out of me as I crumble to the ground. While Frost grabs Darius forelock I manage to crawl to my knees and keep my body low to the ground as I lift myself, ducking as I try to run. Yet when the two strike each other once more someone's hoof collides into my shoulder, while another gets the middle of my back and I fall. My vision dazed their screams terrifying and deafening me, as I try to bring myself to hands and knees to crawl, but I can barely move and breathe. Weakly I manage to mutter a cry as try to crawl away from the two fighting stallions.

"Frost...help..."
