South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

The large ebony feline's belly rested against the rough bark of the thick tree branch. His striking emerald gaze remained steadfast upon the timber coyote. His cheek pressed against the branch in an altogether lackadaisical fashion, his front paw dangling within the air. The male was entirely content to rest within the umbrage and merely observe the peculiar female, regardless of whatever stereotype was associated with such distinct stalking behavior. She was a wonderment to him, a enigma, a puzzle that fascinated him just enough to keep watching without immediate intervention. Such a enthrallment was already foreign to the beast - especially when he wore disinterest so particularly well. He failed to understand her and perhaps, in a small way, his alpha blood wished to have her much in the same fashion that Reagan had once so interested him before the she-tiger had attempted to murder his niece and nephew.

Never the less, the man was all together comfortable with his new found past time, his muscles relaxed entirely, enough so that Tetradore was entirely inattentive to the world around him - his thoughts and attention focused on the girl enough that he hadn't noticed the approach of the chestnut bear. It was the roar that reverberated within the small space that first grabbed his attention, his ears abruptly standing straight upon his chiseled cranium. His tail begun to flick wildly, his claws digging into the bark as he immediately rose to his feet. For a brief moment, it was as if time stood still. His vibrant eyes flickered from barreling bear to wide stance coyote, waiting, anticipating her reaction and yet, he was hardly surprised when the enticing female failed to move at all. After all, she had stared wide eyed into his own face with bared teeth.

A soft, disgruntled huff left the panther's lips, hardly willing to remain idle whilst the object of his intense intrusiveness became the feast of a disgruntled animal. His own offending roar was peeled from his lips, his canines bared and yet he knew it alone was hardly enough to cause the rampaging creature enough concern to halt. Instead, Tetradore launched himself from the tree branch, his toes wide, his claws extended, fully intending to land on the back of the large creature. He fell true, his large claws digging into the bear's back, causing enough of a inconvenience to cause the creature to pause quite literally from arm's reach of the coyote that had so taken his interest. Despite Tetradore's nearly unwavering confidence within the roped off ring of his battle grounds, by strength alone he knew well the animal would best them both. Her claws were sharper, her body stronger, her fur was thicker. The only advantage they might attempt to hold was agility.

The incision of his claws within that layer of fat was enough to promptly reward him with the full ferocity of the bear's fury. He heard her cry of outrage as it echoed within the small cove, his claws immediately retracting as he pushed with his back paws, trying to gain distance from the creature as he twisted within the air to land on all fours. His emerald gaze shifted from bear to the coyote, inquisitive to see if she would be willing to put aside whatever apprehension she had once felt in favor of their conjoined survival.
