South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

kissing death and loosing my breath
There was something altogether natural about this - about them. It made Serafina feel something that she hadn't felt in a particularly long time. This, dancing on the dance floor together, their bodies moving as one - it felt like home. Tamzin felt like home. It was peculiar that she would connect one individual with such an abstract notion but somehow, perhaps within her youth, she did. Serafina heard the soft, disgruntled sigh, knowing all too well that it meant Tamzin had finally decided to give in to her. A grin danced across the young woman features, her stormy eyes steadfast upon the woman in front of her despite the knowledge that her companion had provided her that the pair were being watched. In truth, it mattered particularly little her, the eyes of others upon her feminine form. The only thing that mattered to her with this fractured friendship that had been worn by time. She was certain there had to be a reason Tamzin had returned to her - weather it was merely fate or an opportunity. Serafina had no intention of letting the woman go, not even for a pretty boyish face within the crowd to lie to her with gilded compliments.

The beat to the music abruptly shifted, the sound hardly as sensuous as the melody before it and immediately she felt Tamzin step away from her. An inquisitive glance caught the young girl's eyes as she watched her friend, observing her companion and the fashion at which the Dark Hunter closed her eyes, finally losing herself to the beat. A warm simper of satisfaction crossed the girl's sweetheart lips as she watched her childhood friend lose herself in the music. This was exactly what the young woman needed, of that even Serafina was certain. After all, she was much too uptight. It was a stark contrast to the flighty, fun-loving, rebellions female she had been when they were children. It was funny, how time could so twist and warp them into something that hardly resembled the thing that they once were. Despite this, however, Serafina was hardly the individual to simply give up. Despite the number of roadblocks that might exist between them, the witch was perhaps stubborn to a fault. After all, she'd already made friends with another Dark Hunter that too had been intent to kill her. She was confident that she'd be able to coax the dynamic of their relationship back to life.

Her attention deviated from the dwelling of her thoughts by the bright simper her friend provided her. She willingly let the female draw her closer once again. SHe felt the weight of Tamzin's hands upon her hips and yet, Serafina was all too eager to provide the girl with those dance movements she seemed finally desiring. It was quite the unexpected change of events but the witch was pleased none the less. The sound of her friend's sweet voice within her ear coaxed to her and after a moment's consideration SErafina offered a small nod back. "That sounds' like a good plan." She responded, her grey-tinged gaze immediately searching for the bartender once more. She'd been careful to sip her vodka earlier and yet, now that she had coaxed Tamzin to relinquish her guard she felt less of a need to restrain herself on the liquor she so favored.
