South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

So much had happened today that Henry was so unsure of everything. He didn't know where he was, where he had left off in his life, who this stranger was, and really what his purpose here was. It was a strange feeling to be so alone. Henry was positive he didn't like this feeling. He just wanted to know who he was. He wanted some form of normalcy in his life and he wasn't getting it right now. His life had been flipped upside down and he was expected to make heads or tails of it.

As Sterling pointed down the hallway, Henry slid off the barstool and began to walk down the hall. It seemed to never end, but eventually, Henry found himself in the bathroom. He closed the door softly and when it clicked closed, he turned and locked the door. After all, he didn't know Sterling and he certainly wasn't ready to trust him completely.

Inside the bathroom was a linen closet and Henry opened it to grab a fresh towel and wash cloth. Setting the linen on the counter, he closed the closet and then pulled back the shower curtain. Turning on the shower, he let the water warm up as he began to undress, throwing his clothes haphazardly on the floor. Once there was steam rising from the shower, Henry slipped into the tub, pulling the shower curtain closed. He stood under the hot stream of water for several minutes before he grabbed the bottle of shampoo and squeezed some in his hands. Henry massaged the shampoo into his hair and rinsed. Grabbing the body wash, Henry squeezed some into the washrag and lathered it up. Henry washed every inch of his body, careful to scrub at the areas that looked a little worn. Once he was finished and completely rinsed, Henry remained under the warm water still thinking about everything.

Over thirty minutes had passed before Henry finally turned off the water and pulled open the shower curtain. Stepping from the shower and pulling the curtain closed again, Henry pulled the towel towards him and began to dry himself off. Wrapping the towel around his waist, Henry stood in front of the mirror looking at himself. Who was he? What did he do for a living? Did he love someone? These were all questions that Henry wished he had the answers to. But he didn't and he was worried he might never have the answers.

Unwrapping the towel, he placed it neatly on the towel rack and slipped back into his dirty closed. He didn't have a brush so his short dirty-blonde hair was just haphazardly lying on his head. He knew it would dry funny, but there was nothing he could do about that. Once he was satisfied, he unlocked the door and stepped from the bathroom. Walking down the hallway, Henry could see that Sterling was still standing out on the balcony thinking about something. He joined the other man, pulling up beside him and grasping the railing on the balcony. Silence seemed to fill the void around there and the only noise was the noises of the city below.
