South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

She's a natural in disaster
The silence after and before
We're the ones she's chasing after
She's coming back for more

Tamzin was starting to think Sera's surprise appearance in her life after all these years had thrown her off more than she thought was possible. So far Tamzin had failed to do her job for the first time ever, she got so drunk that she put herself in danger and had to be saved by the witch, and now she had been turned into a dog. She was hunting her newest mark and the woman was surprisingly clever and managed to turn the usually cautious Dark Hunter into a canine. She didn't know how to fix this problem herself, so using the sense of smell she gained as a dog she searched for Sera. The only good thing about any of this was that she was still able to think as herself for the most part, but as more and more time went by she felt the mind of a canine take control.

True, it had only been a couple hours, but it seems that the witch named Autumn was quite gifted at her craft. She couldn't believe that once again she had failed to do what she was paid to do, and that meant she was at an even greater chance of being hunted down and killed herself. Her life was getting more and more dangerous as time went by, and she wasn't quite sure what the future held for her anymore. All she knew was that after this she needed to be more aware of her surroundings and the people she had to go after later. In a way though, she blamed all of this bad luck on Sera, and she wasn't quite sure what to do about that.

The large grey Great Dane was using all her strength and speed to start her search for Sera in the first place they had encountered each other, the forest. She could hear her paws hitting the ground and pushing her forward, her breathing heavy but somehow still even as she ran at full speed towards the outskirts of the city. Once the forest was in sight she lowered her head and with a burst of power pushed herself forward even faster. It then occurred to her that she should be careful as she entered the forest so her pace slowed to a walk as she stepped through the bushes.

Bright blue eyes searched through the trees before her nose caught a familiar scent, it was Sera. She didn't know how she knew that, but something in her just knew so she continued through the bushes and between the trees the scent getting stronger with each step. Her breathing had finally slowed to a more even pace as she rustled through the shrubbery, her massive form not quite capable of silence. Ears perked as she heard a noise ahead, and she stopped moving to listen harder and sniff the air. There was that smell again, and she was sure that it was Sera so she moved forward again her large body pushing past the shrubs growing closer and closer together.

Once she jumped into the small clearing her bright blue eyes landed on the woman standing there, it was Sera. Her excitement quickly peaked and she jumped around the woman, a dance of joy it seemed before she let out a quick series of deep barks. She didn't think about that, there was no way for her childhood friend to understand her. Tamzin didn't think this whole situation through completely, and she was now growing annoyed with herself once again. The annoyance only heard as more barks, these ones seeming angrier.

Sera was her only hope, so she hoped that the woman would look into the familiar eyes and realize who it was.
