West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

It wasn't often that Samantha felt inclined to stay at the Ark, even though she felt perfectly comfortable to come and go as she pleased. She was sure, if she'd asked, Aiden would have offered her her own space to make herself comfortable, though she found no reason to not sleep near Aiden when she found herself wanting to stay here. As such, she'd deposited a few of her clothes in his room for when she'd be here, but other than that, she'd found no reason to not sleep in the apartment that she paid for. Last night, however, she'd found herself crashing at the Ark after a visit to her boyfriend, even though she'd gone to bed hours before he had. He may have liked the chaos of the fighting downstairs, but Samantha's empathic abilities caused her to prefer hiding in his room. The tiny bit of fighting she'd joined him for had caused her to feel rather exhausted and light-headed, and she'd departed his side with merely a kiss on his cheek.

This morning, he'd gone off to go do work early, insisting that she get a few more hours of sleep before she head to the burlesque to do the work that Nadya had put her in charge of. It was with that in mind that she'd finally peeled herself from Aiden's bed and had forced herself to take a shower. She'd just finished getting dressed when the bark caused Samantha to turn, a grin appearing on features as she saw the wolf. "Hi Raven," She chirped, rising to her feet. She reached down to smooth out the navy floral print sundress she wore before she stepped into the matching heels. Of the members of the Ark that she'd met so far, Raven was by far her favorite, and she felt a fondness for the wolf that made her feel rather protective over the woman.

Samantha moved towards the wolf at the mention of another faerie, even though the situation made her feel that sense of unease that she felt whenever she was around other faeries. After all, it wasn't like her experience with her own species was anywhere near pleasant. "Okay," She went to the wolf, reaching down to put a hand on Raven's pelt as though to steady herself. Meeting with other faeries was never something the young girl was good at, even if she did manage them at the burlesque. Still, it didn't stop her from looking down at the wolf beside her. "I'll meet her, but I want you to stay by me, please." Though she knew her relationship with Aiden would cause Raven to respect her wishes, she still felt no need to make demands of the pack. "You know I don't trust faeries." It was an odd thing to say, really, considering that she was one, but the human side of the girl kept her still fearful of those who had taken her from her home and turned her against her will.

Samantha followed the wolf down the stairs into the main area of the Ark. It was generally a place she avoided like the plague, but given its emptiness, the empath felt entirely comfortable in the space. Her eyes fell on the faerie that Raven had left sitting near the bar area. She took a deep breath, once again touching Raven to reassure herself, before she went over to the woman, her heels clicking on the floor as she walked. "Hi," She said with a smile, looking at Raven briefly for reassurance. "Raven here told me that you're a faerie, like me?" She held her hand out to the girl in introduction. "I'm Samantha, but everyone around here calls me Sam."
