West

The western part of the city is often home to the poorer residents. Here there is a grunginess that permeates the town from the graffiti on the once cleaned brick buildings to the broken and unmaintained architecture. Crime runs high within the western half of town, making it the home of supernatural gangs of illicit activities. Such activities are rarely reported, however, and most residents are distrustful of individual's of authorities, and often let the powerful supernatural beings sort things out amongst themselves. Be careful wandering the Western streets after the sun falls.

Black Market

Just like any city - Sacrosanct is not without it's deep, dark underbelly. Hidden in the graffiti-ridden streets of the West, behind closed warehouse doors, lies the Black Market. Anything you desire can be brought for a hefty price within the Black Market - be it drugs, weapons, or lives.

Edge of the Circle

Cull & Pistol

Hidden within the dark alleyways of the Western Ward, Cull & Pistol is a dim, often smoky bar. With a small variety of bottled and craft beers, Cull & Pistol is a quaint little neighborhood joint. With its no-frills moto, the dingy bar offers little more than liquor, music from an old jukebox, and a few frequently occupied pool tables.

Bartender Raylin Chike

Noah's Ark

Resting upon the harbor, Noah's Ark (known simply as The Ark) is a sleek superyacht known both for its fight rings and recent...renovations, of sorts. Accessible from an entrance hidden in the shadows, The Ark is a veritable Were-playground that specializes in fighting tournaments for all creatures great and small. With both singles and doubles tournaments to compete in, the title of Ark Champion is hotly contested amongst the Were population. If anything illegal is going on in the city it's sure to be happening within the back rooms or behind the ring-side bar. Note: This is a Were only establishment. All other species will be swiftly escorted out.

Within the turbulent industrial district lies this club. The warehouse doesn't look like much on the outside but it provides a memorable experience from the state of the art lighting, offbeat Victorian-inspired artwork, comfortable black leather lounges, and the infamous 'black light' room. There is a wide variety of alcohol that lines the shelves of both of the magical and ordinary variety. It is a common stomping ground for the supernatural who want to let loose and dance the night away to the music that floods the establishment. Humans are most welcome if they dare.

Nature girl

We're gonna rattle this ghost town

Speaking to the wolf is strange, when Ivy talks to an animal, usually they don't respond. But it is not only intracting with the werewolf that is strange, but the thought of meeting another fairy is as well. Never in her five years after her change has Ivy considered befriending a fairy, let alone helping one. And, in truth, Ivy doesn't know much of anything about her kind. Aside from the power she gained when she changed, and the fact that she has yet to age much since she was sixteen, the girl doesn't really know anything. Though, perhaps the other fairy knows a bit more and instead teach Ivy. Or, alternatively, they could learn together. Maybe knowing a fairy wouldn't be so bad.

But what if it is bad? The place the wolf wants her to go could be a trap, an ambush. This could mean death. Ivy doesn't truly have anything to lose, no family, no close friends, nothing. So, what the heck? She follows the wolf, each step closer tying a deeper knot of anxiety in her stomach. Through one alley after another, the fairy soon grows self conscious. Her clothes she wears are those from last night, and even if they are not as dirty as they could be, they are not the most formal. Her silly fears of not being proffessional enough are chased away when the wolf nears what appears to be a ship. Her heart leaps to her throat as her thoughts wander to what goes on inside. It seems closed, but that does not phase Raven, the wolf is wagging her tail as if to urge the girl on. Stepping inside, the area reminds Ivy of a bar and hardly anyone is in sight. She wants to ask what the place is as the wolf leads her to a table with a few chairs, but Raven answers the question on her mind.

The wolf tells Ivy that this place, the Ark, is a living space for her pack and that the pack owns the West district. She didn't know this, she didn't even ever think that a pack of weres was in the city. It makes sense, yes, but the girl had not cared enough about supernaturals to look into anything like that. The werewolf pushes a seat out for Ivy, then sets off to find the fairy girl they came there for. She doesn't sit right away, instead she glances around the space. No one looks too treatening, they could just be normal people for all Ivy knows. So far, this supposed meeting is exactly as it was meant to be, not a trap. Raven acts so kind and went as far as saving her life, maybe this could actualy end well. A minute or two passes before the fairy relaxes enough to take the seat, running her slim fingers absentmindedly across indents in the table's wood. While waiting, she decides to have a bit of a reflective moment. The past five years have been lonely, though Ivy won't admit it. She spends her time socializing with humans, but not getting close to anyone in particular. She doesn't go on second dates, because what's the use of falling in love when you'll outlive them? Ivy will stay the same, young and healthy, but a human partner would wither away. Besides, can you blam her for not wanting to get close to someone after the last boyfriend kidnapped her, then caused the change that got her into this mess?

Mere seconds tick by, and yet Ivy feels increasingly comfortable in the Ark. She knew there had to be good supernatuals out there, could some be here? Her mind falls into thought. This other fairy Raven is getting... Raven seems to care about her. Does the other fairy have other friends as well, ones that love her? Maybe Ivy can have that, too. The wolf returns in a few minutes, a pretty blond girl beside her whom Ivy assumes is the fairy. Ivy's heartbeat quickens, she feels her pulse in her abdomen. The blond walks to her, speaking breifly and introducing herself.

"Raven's right, I'm like you," Ivy smiles back, a genuine smile that provides relief to herself along with a dash of confidence. "I'm Ivy, I don't really have a nickname though," she refrains from sharing that she doesn't really have any friends, the reason why she doesn't have much of a nickname. On top of 'Ivy' simply being a short name. "In truth, I've never really met a fairy... while being a fairy," The girl doesn't see the point in lying, and she felt the need to say that. In a way, it feels as if she has been lying to herself by keeping away from her kind.
